Awesome news foster home found 🥳🥳 NEEDING A FOSTER HOME FOR THIS HANDSOME LAD 🐶 🐾 This adorable 8 week old Male, Staffy/X was let down by his previous owner, but now needs a loving foster home asap to prepare him for his forever home. Thanks everyone for all your shares and for caring ❤️ Have found a foster home here in Hawkes Bay for Chino . ‼️Urgent ‼️Foster home needed urgently in the Hawke's Bay 🙏 🐾 Have been asked by an out of town Pound if we can help Chino as he hasn't found a home in time for Christmas. 🐾 Meet Chino 🐾 Chino is a 4 - 5 month old (approximately) Shepherd cross Bulldog. Chino is a confident young pup. He loves people and wants to be the centre of attention 🐶 Will require training and a home experienced in owning large breed dogs is preferable. Little update on Athena 🐶 🐾 Athena was picked up yesterday from a property in Onekawa she had seeked refuse in a property where two other Dogs resided. The home owners called the pound around 2ish they respond to the call and instantly the dog was identified as Athena. She was an easy catch as she put her trust in the Dogs and when they went for a pat so did she (whew) When I picked her up I could see she was still very scared but not growly like the day before. Was alittle work to entice her out of the car but eventually she came . She now is settling into a foster home where she is doing so well and being very much doted over by her foster Dad. Thank you so much Matt who without you she would be still in the Pound ❤️ I would also like to thank everyone for all your shares and sightings to help bring Athena home 🏡❤️

UPDATE - ATHENA HAS BEEN FOUND 🥳🥳 SIGHTING LUNCHTIME TODAY HEADING DOWN KENNEDY RD TOWARDS TARADALE MISSING - AROUND EDMUNDSON STREET ONEKAWA INDUSTRIAL UPDATE - ATHENA HAS ESCAPED THE PROPERTY, IF YOU COME ACROSS HER PLEASE CALL NAPIER POUND. Update - Have been given till tomorrow Friday to find somewhere for Athena to go 🙏 Urgently Needing an experienced foster Home for a 12 month old by tomorrow 🙏 🐾 Meet Athena 🐶 Staffy/X, Female, 12 months old . She will need somewhere new to decompress in a quiet home with either no children or older children, no Cats and high fencing. Athena has alittle anxiety but normally settles quickly, she also has separation anxiety so someone home alot . 🐾 Athena has been in rescue since September while waiting for her forever home. I have previously transported her between the Pound, her foster home and kennels with absolutely no issues. However, things took a turn this morning while moving to another foster. She became extremely scared, which caused her to growl, nippy and even poop herself. She has been very distant ever since. 🐾 Do not know what this girl's life has been before coming into Rescue but she needs help and deserves a second chance. 🐾 If you would be interested in helping Athena and fostering her please get in contact with us.

Urgently Needing an experienced foster Home for a 5 month old Pup asap 🙏 🐾 Meet Sable 🐶 Staffy/Lab, Female, 5 months old . 🐾 What Sable needs Needs socialization in all aspects Not good with cats Not good with small children Slow induction with a confident dog Needs someone focused on training She's eager to love Great with adults, although will jump and puppy nip Loves to fetch Needs high fencing Is crate trained here , does extremely well Used to lead although needs training Fast learner , knows how to bring toy back for fetch Ready for someone to train her and love her . 🐾 Have spoken with Augusta Grayson whose a Proactive Canine Training here in HB, she is willing to help with advice and Puppy Socializing Classes . 🐾 Do not know what this girl's life has been up to now but she needs help and deserves a second chance. 🐾 If you would be interested in helping fostering Sable please get in contact with us.

UPDATE - ALL 8 PUPS HAVE LEFT THE POUND, 1 HAS BEEN ADOPTED AND THE OTHER 7 ARE IN FOSTER TILL THEY FIND THEIR FOREVER HOMES. 2 GIRLS AND 5 BOYS STILL AVAILABLE. Napier Pound Pups needing a foster home . 🐾 8 more Babies needing a foster home while they do there 8 day stray time and until they find their forever homes. They need to be out of the Pound to start socializing in a family environment. They are approx 7-8 weeks old and are Staffordshire Terrier X 🐾 Ideally, we are wanting to have them fostered in pairs where possible as this is easier for the pups and us to manage. It means they have company and we can stretch our foster homes a bit further. Preferably, we are wanting to adopt them straight to their forever homes but as they can't be rehomed until another 7 days we will take expression of interest 💖 🐾 Everything is provided for fostering.
