Due to my mum & dad both working in industries that are heavily effected by the virus we have decided to stop baking for now.

While we appreciated your support, things are going to become difficult in the house of Lady Coco so rather than getting into strife we have decided to pull back for a bit.

Hi everyone. I hope your hounds are tucking into their treats that were sent out on Monday ❤️

We’ve had some feedback from some families that some bags of treats are arriving broken or in some cases in teeny tiny pieces.

Please know that this is not what Lady Coco and I want and we are working to rectify this asap.

We would like to use recyclable, environmentally friendly, that is as cheap as possible so the postage price doesn’t have to go up.

Does anyone have any ideas on what we could use?

💖Baking again tonight. Here are some pictures from start to finish💖

🐾As you can see we make all the treats from scratch (under the watchful eyes of Lady Coco and sister Teeny Tiny).

🐾We use the water used to cook the carrot and apple in the recipe so there is little or no wastage.
All treats are hand cut, every single one... 🤣 we make these with lots of love 🥰

🐾Remember these treats are natural & delicious, tried & tested!! There is no icky, unnecessary or bad stuff here 🐾

I have let mum out of the kitchen for the long weekend. She dropped me off at my nanas for a 4 night sleepover. As you can see I am not overly impressed about it 😞
Mum said something about her going on a plane to some place called Wellington ✈️
I hope she comes home soon, we’ve got more treats to bake!!

🐾On the nights we can’t get out for a walk I give the girls a sniffari (a term I stole from the greyhound community!)
🐾This enables them to use their amazing sense of smell to hunt out the treats. This will make them use their brain which will in turn tire them out. Not as much as an hours walk, but you get the picture.

🐾Here are our girls with their sniffari tonight. They go in and out over a period of about an hour to check everything has been found.
🐾We use a bunch of different treats, tonight I chucked in low fat cheese 🧀 a little lamb green tripe 🤢 freeze dried salmon 🐟 a small handful of their biscuits 🍎then some of our homemade treats. I try to mix it up so it doesn’t get boring.

🐾Banana & Beetroot Treats🐾

💖These bright pink treats are full of natural goodness for you dog and are the most popular flavour by far💖

In our Banana & Beetroot treats we use:

❤️Brown rice flour so even wheat sensitive dogs can have these
🧡Beetroot which has vitamin C, fiber, folate, manganese, and potassium. These vitamins and minerals are good for your dog’s digestion and immune system as well as a healthy skin and coat.
💛Bananas are high in potassium, vitamin B6, and vitamin C. In fact, sometimes veterinarians recommend this fruit as a healthy alternative to fatty, salty treats. The fruit is also high in fiber, which can help if your dog is having gastrointestinal problems, and magnesium, which promotes bone growth and helps the body produce protein and absorb vitamins.
💚Coconut oil can increase energy levels, improve skin and coat, improve digestion, and reduce allergic reactions (if you are worried about coconut oil being slight higher in fat content than other oils we can substitute if need be)
💙We also use honey as a natural preservative so these treats won’t keep as long as mass produced store bought ones. Because of this we recommend the treats to be placed into an airtight container for up to 2 weeks or you can freeze them for up to 6 months.

Hi all!
Lady Coco’s Kitchen is all about the dogs and their treats.

Our background:
Lady Coco is a 7.5 year old fawn coloured greyhound. She has pancreatitis and finding low fat, natural and healthy treats for her has been a struggle. So I decided to be a good dog mum and make her own. We haven’t looked back since.
We have taste tested on our furry friends and family and they have been a hit. So we decided to share them with everyone.

Our current flavours are:

💛Turmeric & honey
💚Banana & beetroot.

These treats are full of goodness and nothing icky or bad for your dogs.
