We had a wonderful sunny day for our SSANZ Scent Work Trial on Saturday 3rd Aug 2024.
Thanks to the support of my organising team, Lynn, Angela and Glenys for the massive amount of work they did making the Intermediate and Advanced Trial such a successful day.
A huge thank you to Mike Ure, Karen Budden and Jan Bedford for their work and support, especially when they didn't even have their dogs entered.
The vehicles for searches were lent to us by Lynn, Glenys, Jan A, Jan B and Wendy. It's always a big ask, thank you.
Our Stewards were Karen, Jenn and Jan B, who did an awesome job. Sue, Wendy and Rae ran the call boards beautifully. Also thanks to Marg Douglas who isn't a club member or a dog owner and spent hours running the kitchen providing yummy food along with Glenys and her famous Okato cheese scones!
Congratulations to the teams that qualified and to those that didn't quite get it on the day, you still did some excellent searches so well done.
The search locations were in the cafe garden exterior and car park, school gym and weight room, school entrance and car park, local church and grounds.
Jim Wyeth judged the Advanced Trial with 8 out of 18 qualifying. Maree Boreham judged Intermediate with 6 out of 14 qualifying. Our judges were great and really made our trial special, thanks from us all.

Club Obedience Grade 1 and Grade 2 + start again on Monday the 22nd 🙌 Grade 1 starts at 7pm and Grade 2 + starts just after 6pm 😊

Wednesday Day classes start up again on the 24th!
