Schoolers!! New Plymouth/ Taranaki Area📍

After a stint overseas I’ll be back in NZ next week for a few months and offering the following services:
- Schoolers
- Catch rides
- Lessons
Overseas I spent a bit of time riding in a young horse Ecurie in France, helping with the development of horses aged 3-6.
** schoolers will have regular outings ie beach rides (if wanted) as well as farm riding for variety.

End of an era with my beautiful Levi❤️
I feel so lucky to have had such an amazing and talented horse who gave me 110% in everything he did. Thank you to everyone involved who helped make Levi the horse he is today🫶

Deutzs last round of the season jumping to 2nd in the 1.15m speed at Series Finals🏅

Deutz is for sale, only due to my impending OE. He has competed up to 1.30m/ mini Prix successfully but we feel he is much more competitive and happy around the amateur/ pro am/junior height.

The first few years of having Deutz were a bit of a challenge (our esnz results would show that!) due to my own surgeries, injuries and concussions- none due to him. Plus the factor of allowing a ‘young at heart’ horse to grow up. He has now fully settled and has outdone himself the last couple of seasons.

He is beautifully schooled, would equally make a fantastic dressage horse and is one of the kindest, charismatic horses to have around. Good to do everything on the ground and I often will chuck young riding school kids on him to go for hacks down the road, he’s just so reliable.

Since his Christmas break he has brought home multiple ribbons from each show and has been so much fun. His results from a short season include:

- 2nd 1.15m speed and 1.10m-1.15m champ Equifest
- 3rd 1.20m Speed Waitemata Show
-3rd 1.15m 2 phase HOY (out of over 100 riders)
- 4th ESNZ 1.15m equitation medal HOY
-2nd Horowhenua/ Wellington Show 1.15m champ
-6th Takapoto Estate Copper tour qualifier 2 and top 10 qualifier 1
- 2nd 1.10m Rotorua Spring Show
- 4th 1.10m-1.15m NZ Indoor champs

Good weekend away at Takapoto🌞
Both boys clear in the Copper Tour Qualifier 1, 5th and 6th in the second Qualifier and a rider error on each in the final to keep us out of the jump off.
Thanks to the organisers and to everyone who helps keep my boys feeling tip top🫶

Good weekend away at Taranaki Equestrian Jumping Inc. show, thanks to the committee/ volunteers for running a superb show.
Levi back out in the ring after a few months out, jumping a lovely clear and Deutz winning his class⚡️

Have had space open up for some more schoolers!
They will be based at the beautiful Madison Park (where photo is taken).

Bit about me and what I can offer…
Although I now primarily focus on show jumping and flat schooling (with other disciplines just for a bit of fun), I have previously competed at 1.05m eventing, level 2 dressage and show hunter at hoy level. I have been training horses for clientele for a few years now, including training/ retraining my own horses.
I can offer a holistic approach in your horses training. Looking at all aspects that affect performance in day-to-day riding. I have a great understanding of how to correctly train a horse to encourage muscle development and overall strength, so you and your equine friend can have a more enjoyable and successful experience.
