Deutzs last round of the season jumping to 2nd in the 1.15m speed at Series Finals🏅
Deutz is for sale, only due to my impending OE. He has competed up to 1.30m/ mini Prix successfully but we feel he is much more competitive and happy around the amateur/ pro am/junior height.
The first few years of having Deutz were a bit of a challenge (our esnz results would show that!) due to my own surgeries, injuries and concussions- none due to him. Plus the factor of allowing a ‘young at heart’ horse to grow up. He has now fully settled and has outdone himself the last couple of seasons.
He is beautifully schooled, would equally make a fantastic dressage horse and is one of the kindest, charismatic horses to have around. Good to do everything on the ground and I often will chuck young riding school kids on him to go for hacks down the road, he’s just so reliable.
Since his Christmas break he has brought home multiple ribbons from each show and has been so much fun. His results from a short season include:

- 3rd 1.20m Speed Waitemata Show
-3rd 1.15m 2 phase HOY (out of over 100 riders)
- 4th ESNZ 1.15m equitation medal HOY
-2nd Horowhenua/ Wellington Show 1.15m champ
-6th Takapoto Estate Copper tour qualifier 2 and top 10 qualifier 1
- 2nd 1.10m Rotorua Spring Show
- 4th 1.10m-1.15m NZ Indoor champs

8yr old by Tuahu Jonah out of Billiondollarbabe. Competing upto 1m, had her second SJ show last weekend, placing in the 90cm. Late starter due to no fault of her own. Lovely temperament, fantastic brain and super fun.
Ginger has trained upto 1.20m at home, goes nicely on the flat. She has limited experience over x country fences but is brave nonetheless and would make a great eventer with time.
Awesome to hack out on the farm, road, beach etc.

Lordeutz in his first mini Prix start a few weeks back🦄 lots of patience and dedication involved with this boy but really enjoying seeing him start to show his quality over some bigger tracks!
