Emmy is nearly 9months old and standing around 142cm + I'm pretty excited to watch this girl grow up! I'm not even worried she's still in my paddock, such a wee honey but plenty of s***k (the red head is strong 😂) love her so much though, hope she finds the most perfect home that shows her to her full potential she will go far ❤️. Hopefully she will be ready to make an appearance at Palmerston Spring show next month ❤️

Today was a school day for Emmy. She came in and had the wee clippers on her legs, chin and ears. Apart from the initial major over reaction at the first wee bit of fluff falling off, which then gave herself a wee fright, she then stood rock solid for me to trim everything 😍. We hope to get her ready for Palmerston Spring Show and then hopefully she will find herself a wonderful home to continue her inhand career for her youngstock years. I believe this wee girl will go far in the right home and look forward to watching her grow ❤️😍. She's now paddocked on her own over the fence from her big sister to learn about life and she's happy as.

Well after 2 yrs of heartbreak with our beautiful Rakaunui Arielle (Ellie) we have decided we cannot breed from her again at 20yrs old. She is a stunning mare and we are gutted that we lost two of her beautiful babies. However it was comforting watching her raise two beautiful babies for people who unfortunately lost their mares. She is an exceptional mare and we will very much miss having her around but we are so happy she will be heading back to Wembleybrook Sporthorses to retire ❤️🥰. If we didn't have Roxy (24) to babysit the babies then Ellie would be staying here. I'm sure she will love being back with her old friends and getting to babysit plenty of babies herself though ❤️🥰

Beautiful winter days lately to have rugs off and check on how everyone is doing and growing. Emmy (TV Mountain Emerald) & Tilly (TV Touch of Silver) are both growing well at around 140 & 138cm. Tilly has gone into a 3'9 rug cause she's just so chunky where as Emmy is a lot finer and more compact both going to be big girls. Pippa (TV Mountain Premier) is back into work after her 18wks off since HOY, on we got and away we went testament to the fantastic Irish nature ❤️. Nikita and I finished hunting a couple of weekends ago and well now Lulu's deposit is in, so she is definitely heading North near end of September. We will certainly miss her but excited for her new owner and to see what she delivers come end November ❤️

Finally after 65mls of much needed rain over the last few weeks, big yellow 🌞 has made an appearance 💛. Covers off to check how everyone's doing and safe to say all is well, fat, happy & healthy. Looking forward to the mud drying out at some stage. Nikita and I had our last hunt for the season yesterday so she will have a bit of a break now and just hack over summer ready for next season ❤️👏 .... our beautiful chestnut filly Emmy may have herself a wonderful home lined up fingers and toes crossed as if she goes there we couldn't wish for a better home for her, watch this space 🤞🤞🤞

Pippa (TV Mountain Premier) came in for a very much needed tail wash & bag this afternoon (I wish that bay tinge would grow out as it still looks dirty 🤦‍♀️). Another 4.5 wks and it'll mark the end of her 20wks off since she competed at HOY, shoe's will be back on & back to business. She's done loads of growing and maturing and I'm excited to continue her education and compete her this spring/summer hopefully doing a touch of dressage aswell as showing and she will probably see her first jumps over summer too. Her full sibling Delta (TV Mountain Arrow) rising 2yr old, will be coming on the market officially come spring but if anyone's interested now get in touch and I can put you in touch with her owner, she is currently located in Chertsey but will come home here in spring to be sold on behalf if not sold beforehand. We also have a couple of babies here aswell so if your looking for something in particular flick me a message 😁👏

Nikita (Starr Touch) by Coalmans Touch out of Roxy Arrow (Lone Arrow) has come out of the broodmare paddock for a bit of fun while her daughter has a large break after HOY... She is rising 16 & we have finally found her happy place ❤️, other than being a mum. She absolutely thrives on the hunt field, I sure hope her Daughters follow in her footsteps, cause I definitely have the bug. Thank you to South Canterbury Hunt for letting me enjoy a days hunting with you all. Just Waimate & maybe South Canterbury closings left for me but next season we will be out so much more ❤️😁. She is Dam to TV Mountain Premier (Pippa rising 5 yr old), TV Mountain Arrow (Delta rising 2yr old) & TV Touch of Silver (Tilly 6months)

Love long weekends, means getting jobs done. Both foals had some handling today and on and off the float a few times like the wee gems that they are, nothing much phases these babies. Next time they will go for a wee ride around the block. Tilly also did some showing off while catching her, after she jumped out last night, must of had enough of her big sister being a pest 😂🤦‍♀️

Everyone looking good with their rugs off today in the horrendous but warm wind we had. Lulu hopefully has a wonderful new home lined up but will still be here for a wee while yet ❤️. All the youngsters are growing and fluffy and fat, really enjoying having these babies in the paddock. Not too concerned if they stick around for a while. Look forward to doing some inhand showing with them come spring ❤️😁

Babies all microchipped and registered with the IDHSNZ. Emmy had a wee sleep and had her hernia banded aswell. All went well last night and happy babies out with their rugs on for the first time, as it was bitterly cold and after she had been put on the ground to fix her hernia we thought best to rug her up. Tilly fills her 3'6 rug very well and Emmy isn't far behind her. You'd think their ages were the opposite but Tilly is actually 3wks younger both will mature around 16.3-17hh. Just have to learn to float then be ready for their new homes ❤️😁 get in touch if interested 😉

Nice morning to have some sun on their backs, although the clouds closing in now 🤦‍♀️. Everyone is looking pretty happy and healthy ❤️🥰. Lulu and Nikita had a much needed tidy up and now resemble slightly less neglected horses without their manes past their necks and tails on the ground lol. Was a bit worried about the old girl 3wks ago but she has picked up and is enjoying bossing the babies around ❤️ she will be 24 this year so she is doing pretty well ❤️.

Our beautiful Ellie (Rakaunui Arielle by Lowenherz) is home after being weaned from her beautiful foster foal Lucy aka "Best Friends Girl" by Bettors Delight out of Carpenters Daughter. Thank you so much to Lynda & Family for taking such good care of Ellie and we cannot wait to follow Lucy in the years to come ❤️🥰.

Happy babies all weaned and learning about the basics and essentials of life. Both lead, tie up, cover (although still naked for now), pick up all their feet and have seen the farrier. Next step to learn to float and then Tilly (grey & white) will be ready to go to a new home ❤️. If your interested get in touch. Baxter is a lovely type, who has a super nature. He has straight big bold ground covering movement and would make a lovely hunter or would excell at any discipline. Great to do anything with, nothing seems to phase him, takes it all in his stride.

He has spent some time with Scott O'Malley and had everything done except get on. He does have a slot booked with Scott for Nov/Dec to be finished off if the buyer wishes to use this.

Sad sale for his owner but needs to move on and find his person.

Happy mums and babies with their baleage and a fresh break ❤️. We have decided that our Emmy is staying put to cross with Derrynasagurt Silver in the future after a ridden career. This means sadly we will be looking for a new home for her Dam who is infoal to Silver due November. So both Lulu (bay mare) and Tilly (Grey & white foal) will be available after weaning mid next month. We will miss lulu, she's been a fantastic mum to her 3 babies for us, but looking to the future we need to do this. If interested in either get in touch 🥰❤️.

So I touched base with Lynda today who has our beautiful warmblood mare Rakaunui Arielle fostering her foal that lost her mum. Baby Lucy is by Bettor's Delight out of Carpenters Daughter. It was love at first sight for these two and they have thrived together. Ellie is an exceptional mum and has done so well by Lucy. These photos taken a few weeks ago. Lucy is off to be weaned at Easter so Ellie will be coming home and we will see what next season brings for her but first she will probably babysit our own foals at weaning come mid/end April. How great does Lucy look 🥰❤️. We are really looking forward to having our big girl home too ❤️🥰

Great to be home from LRHOY and to see these two dropping their coats nicely. They happily showed off on the arena for some footage for interested people. Both are going to be fantastic types and have the best natures just like their parents 🥰❤️.

I look at these and think wow she is only 4yrs old. Can't wait to see her in another 2-3yrs time when we return to LRHOY. She really is something special and one to watch for sure. We are currently in the middle of the cook strait with the mainland in sight. Ponies are happy and traveling so well. ❤️🥰👌 We also got to see Theo (TV Mountain Thunder 2yr old by Ballineen Blue Mountain out of Katie's Sister) last night when we stayed with Karena & Chris in Upper Hutt. Thank you so much for the Hospitality, he looks fantastic and can't wait to watch him grow up & succeed with you aswell ❤️🥰. For now it's home time and a big big holiday for Pippa and we will hit the show ring and dressage arena next season 👌🦄. Who knows may even bring the eventer back out of the broodmare paddock over winter 🤔😊

So proud of this little horse. We may not have placed in the title's but she was exceptional all day and I am incredibly proud of her and looking so forward to her future. She really is a wee gem. 2nd Rising Star HOY warm up class at Land Rover Horse of the Year 2024. The long haul starts for home on sunday and then she will be turned out to grow until next season. So proud of my wee 4yr old, what will she look like when we are back here as a 6-7yr old 🥰❤️🦄
