Erin Go Bragh (pictured as a yearling) made a perfect start to his racing career at Taupo today when taking out the Placemakers Rotorua Maiden event over 1300m on debut in the hands of Tegan Newman.

Trained by Stephen Marsh, the son of Vadamos - from blue hen mare Irish Blues - was offered by Carlaw Park and purchased by Stephen Marsh Racing and Dylan Johnson Bloodstock at the 2023 New Zealand Bloodstock Karaka Book 1 Yearling Sale for $220,000.

Erin Go Bragh, affectionately known as Van at home, is closely related to Vernanme (Multiple Group 1 placegetter) whom spent much of his time at Carlaw Park when spelling and both present many similar characteristics.

Congratulations to breeders V & Est late M R Trillo and all connections involved in a fantastic debut victory.
