Great result today selling this super filly by Proisir out of Ophelia Lee (O’Reilly) for $320000. She went to astute purchasers O’Shea Charlton racing and James Bester bloodstock, and we look forward to following her progress. Huge day for us and CH Bloodstock with the sale of our super Written Tycoon-Be My Star C**t for $525000.

It’s been a tough year and to get a result like this is massive!

It really takes a village to produce sale horses of this quality, so to everyone who helped in the background, thank you so much!!

To finish a sale on this kind of high is very special, we don’t take it for granted, but it certainly gives us confidence in what we do and positivity looking forward.

Congratulations to purchasers , we hope that “Star” goes on to live up to his name for you as he did for us!!

Every year we have been proud to have trusted the team from to do the under saddle education for our Ready to Run horses. Unfortunately this year, Carl had a serious fall meaning he couldn’t ride, and we are hugely grateful to Andy and Ethan Dalley from Devon Oaks in Cambridge who stepped in and took over the ridden preparation of our two lovely Sydney horses. They did an amazing job, and if you watch the boys’ breeze up I think you’ll agree!

We are very excited about our Written Tycoon- Be My Star c**t, lot 14 at the R2R sale next week. A lovely horse to do anything with, he breezed up in 10.55 showing a huge, easy stride.

Another year of Yearling sales at Karaka over and out! We continue to ride the highs and lows of the sales rollercoaster, although topping the the Book Two sale with the stunning Time Test-Kerre c**t was definitely a standout moment and a wonderful high! 🌟

Our team this year was top notch, everyone worked so hard and we are so grateful for all their effort in caring for and presenting our horses, thank you is not enough!!

As always, biggest thank you to our clients for allowing us the privilege of preparing and selling their horses. We know the emotions often involved with breeding and raising horses and then passing them over to us to sell is a level of trust we continue to be grateful for 🙏

As I said earlier, sales is a rollercoaster ride, and we will take a few days to recover from this, then will be looking towards the next one! 🎢
