Meet Ted, an 8 month old puppy from my last litter. He is, unfortunately, looking for a forever home as his family has had a change of circumstances and are no longer able to provide him with the home life he needs.

Ted is one of the best groodles I have bred. He is full of love and fun, is bright and intelligent, and loves to interact with other dogs. He is also great with children. He has a beautifully soft fleece coat.

This is Bruno, the stud dog who has sired 2 litters for me with Neika. Due to a change in circumstances he is now looking for a new home. Bruno is an apricot standard poodle, about 3 - 4 years of age, and is intact (not de-sexed). He has the most amazingly mellow personality, is very loving, loyal and gentle.

Here are the latest photo's of Neika and Bruno's litter. The pups are over 5 weeks old now, and are proper little dogs! Their play antics are adorable, they love their cuddles, and are starting to run riot around the section. This will be the last litter I have for quite a while, so I'm trying to make the most of it. I will very much miss having these lovable little critters around.

Neika's latest litter of puppies are just over 3 weeks old now, and growing like mushrooms. They are still a bit wobbly on their pins, but getting right into exploring outside the whelping box now. After every meal they have a wee play around, trying to play fight with each other and explore the big wide world of their bedroom.

Neika's new litter of puppies have arrived safe and sound. Six wee ones, 5 boys and 1 girl. Neika is doing a great job of mothering, as usual, and pups are all healthy and happy. They make the cutest noises when this little, which is strange since they can't hear yet. More photos coming soon!

Another litter of groodles for you to oogle ... Wollydogs in Auckland have a 3 week old litter of 11 groodle puppies looking for their forever homes.

Their mother is their much loved Ruby Lou - she's a Multi Gen Retradoodle / Groodle and is medium sized. Their father Bruno, the same dad as my litter, is a apricot standard poodle who is also a much loved member of the Wollydogs family. So these puppies are back crosses and have slightly more poodle in them. Their coats are looking mostly fleece - there will be some wool coats in the mix as well. They are being raised at a rural home amongst other Wollydog crew members so will have been well socialised with other dogs and people. They are fed a raw food diet to give them optimal health and the best start to a healthy life.

EMIE HAS A NEW HOME NOW WITH HER UNCLE AND FAMILY IN AUCKLAND ... THANK YOU TO ALL THAT RESPONDED

I am looking for a new home for Emie. She is a standard sized groodle, and has a very soft fleece coat which is currently very short for the summer. Emie is a soft gentle girl, very affectionate and loves cuddles. She will be 2 years old in March.

Emie was going to be a breeding mum, however breeding dogs should have hip scores in the top 50% of scores for groodles to improve the breed in terms of hip dysplasia, and Emie is in the 25-50% range. This means she has not inherited hips bad enough to get dysplasia, but they are not good enough for a breeding dog.
Emie would suit a family where someone is at home most of the time, and ideally a home where there is another dog for company. She is not used to children so I would not recommend a home with young children.

I'm sorry I haven't posted any pictures of my last litter. Facebook bombed on me and wouldn't load the pictures so I sulked and ignored it haha. This litter was a great one, all the pups were very mellow and easy going, they were a real pleasure. The families were great to deal with too. So it was a good time all around. Seriously in need of a rest now though. I'll post some more pictures later.

You might have noticed that the estimated date for the puppy's birth came and went with no post about the puppies. It has been the first time I've gotten the birth date wrong. It was actually the spreadsheet's fault haha .... Anyway I'm happy to announce the arrival of 7 puppies, 5 boys and 2 girls, on the 14th August. All pups and mum are doing well. The colours are a range from the cream of Neika to the treacle colour of Hector, the new stud we have. I hope to share more photos with you as the puppies grow over the next couple of months.

Great news - after a long wait while Neika had a rest, we are now expecting another litter of puppies. The vet says about an average sized litter. I can't wait to have the pitter patter of wee feet around the place again. Neika is in great spirits. We expect the wee darlings around the 3rd or 4th of August.

Last batch of photos from the latest litter .... these wee guys have been such a pleasure. Full of joy, fun and mischief. They followed in the pawprints of their siblings too. I have a couple of well dug holes in my lawn that look like rabbit burrows and I swear the puppies could get fully into the holes to hide!! They have chewed everything outside including the house. Anything and everything got turned into a toy. No day started later than 7am with Neika and all the puppies making sure I was awake and dressed and letting puppies out to play by then. It was a bittersweet experience seeing them go, however as usual I'm really pleased with the lovely families they have gone to and am sure they're going to be valued family members.

The puppies are growing and changing so fast, there are new things to enjoy with them every day. They have decided lockdown is not such a big deal and the world is still a big happy place .... trying to take on their attitude! These pics are a bit old, here they were walking on their own and playing with each other, now they are doing runs and spins, launching attacks at prone fluffy pheasants, and sumo wrestling.

We all need something to smile at with things the way they are at present ... so here's a wee smile for you all. Puppies now one and a half weeks old, trying hard to walk, and 2 have their eyes partially open. Now that we're going into lockdown I'll have plenty of bored helpers here to help care for the little mites over the next few weeks!!

We are very happy to announce the safe arrival of Neika's newest litter - 5 girls and 4 boys, all hearty and healthy. The dad is Ronnie - an apricot standard poodle - so the pups will end up being quite large dogs. I'm keeping one of the girls myself (after 2 failed attempts at getting a healthy breeding female from other breeders) so am very excited. Everyone on the waiting list for a puppy is getting one, which is an excellent outcome. Neika coped very well, as usual, taking the whole thing in her stride. There will be lots of cute puppy photos to follow!!! This is our last litter until the end of next year, so am going to be making the most of every minute I have with these new darlings ...

We have a new litter on the way!!! Neika has had her scan and is definitely carrying quite a large load of buns in her oven!! This will be the last litter we have until the end of next year, so am going to make the most of every minute with them. So excited!! We have a full waiting list for the litter, so sorry we can't accept any more families to the waiting list. Due to high demand we have opened a waiting list for the next litter at the end of 2021 - which is a super long wait I know, but I've been asked by several families now so going with the flow ... More puppy updates soon, launch date is 13th March.

Well what with my usual crap health and pain issues, cold winter weather, a large litter, a virus, a broken camera, etc etc I was a total slacker and didn't post many pics of the last litter of pups online for you all to enjoy. I'm really sorry, especially since they were an amazing bunch of cuddly love bundles and a total joy to bring into the world. Neika once again did a superb job of being the doggy mum. I put all my energy into being a good human mum and making sure the new families had all their needs met, hence being a slacker at posting here. Never mind, I'm making up for it by posting a whole lot of photos now!! Enjoy!!

Hi everyone ... check out Ultra pet food. I've been looking at a way to include grain in the diet of my dogs after finding out that new research suggests dogs fed on grain free diets may be at risk of developing heart conditions. The research hasn't been formally published yet however a friend has had it develop in her dog who is being treated at Massey University. There is info on the internet about it.

Anyway, since I'm a breeder Ultra have offered me a discount on their products which amounts to about 20% off the retail price, which is already very reasonable. I'm going to start using it as a supplement for my dogs. I like the fact it's NZ made and therefore fresher, and that it has been independently tested for quality. I'm still passionate about the raw food diet but at the same time I want to make sure my dogs are getting the nutrients they need, so am going for the best of both worlds I think with this food.

Guardian family wanted for 10 week old golden coloured Groodle boy. If you'd love a groodle and prepared to keep him intact (i.e. no desexing), and now is the right time for you, or if you're on my waiting list and don't want to wait, get in touch. Guardian families own the dog - he would be part of your family - and are used by the breeder on an occasional basis to make more little groodles. Puppy is in the foreground in the first picture. The puppies are 4 weeks old now, and have their real dog collars on, so I guess that makes them real dogs!! They bark sometimes when the older dogs bark, it's so cute. They run, do spins, play fight, cuddle, give puppy kisses, they're all just amazingly adorable. And when they finish being busy, it's time to crash out like this little one in the first picture. How cute is that!!

Latest pictures of the little darlings. These darlings are getting me up every 3 hours at night, because mum can't fit in the whelping box with them all and still get comfy to feed them. I feel like the walking dead. I don't think I've known this kind of tired since I had my last baby, who also kept me up all night. The bright side - it's only for a short time, and they are such little darlings I'm still loving watching them, and enjoying the process of getting another batch of families on the road to having a groodle in their lives. Happy times!!

If there is a family out there who would love to have a groodle and can't afford the purchase price but could afford to look after a dog, you might suit being a guardian family for a stud dog. A mutually beneficial agreement would be negotiated. Location is not a deal breaker however the closer to Tauranga obviously the better for me. I don't have a specific dog in mind, I'm looking for potential families first. If you'd like to chat, PM me please.

Neika's litter is a week old tomorrow, and they're all doing very well. Neika is SUCH a great mum, and with nine babies to tend to, she has her paws full!! I'm just shoveling the food into her and enjoying watching and listening to the little ones - magic for the soul is what puppies are. Of course I'm not going to be feeling quite so mellow about the whole thing once they start walking all over my bedroom and I'm running after them with paper towels and odor remover spray!!! Neika and I are proud to announce the arrival of 9 wee puppies today. Neika didn't give me much notice she was in labour last night, was just restless. At 9pm I though I better put the newspaper and towels in the whelping box since I thought the pups might come today, although I thought it more likely tomorrow (thur), and lucky that I did. The pups started arriving at 3.15am. They're all a very good size and eating well. Neika did an amazing job. Congrats to Ronnie, our new stud, who obviously did a wonderful job!! Some early photos here, and one of dad. I think the slightly darker pups will be apricot in colour, and the lighter ones cream and gold like Neika, their grandmother and grandfather.

Neika still has 10 days to go until her due date and she looks about ready to burst. She is groaning and having trouble getting comfortable, I really feel for her. Whichever way you look at her there's this big huge bulge where her slimline tummy used to be ... she's a puppy incubator with legs!!
