Another quick video of Cindy 😄🐎
Just another little snapshot of Cindy 😄 🐎
Here is a little video of Cindy today all grown up!
Cindy Day 3: Had a great afternoon working with this lovely lady. She is learning so much already and is coming along very nicely!
I took Cruiz out for his first stroll over the hill yesterday. It didn’t go quite as planned, he has a few underlying issues that need more time and groundwork to sort out. Nothing nasty, just general respect and listening!
I have had a great couple of days riding Ammo! The weather has been perfect. Heres to a good last week with him!
Had another great ride on Ammo today! Took him out for a walk and a bit of trot. He really just loves getting out and about!!
Ammo Day 4: Did a bit of lunging today and got on Ammo for the first time. He was great! Very well behaved 😄
Argo is so great to work with! I had her out over the farm last week! She wasn't fazed by much and loved getting out and about seeing all life has to offer 🐎🌿
Lily's progress over 12 days. She is now started under saddle and is ready for her training to compete at her first event in early August. Taking the time to make sure the horse can process what you are asking of them really does pay off in the long run.
Day 4 - Lily is outside doing the groundwork with the saddle on today. She handled it like a pro and there was no sign of her being naughty. We also went for a walk down the driveway and to the front gate so she could take in the big wide world. I then lent over her for the first time which she also took in her stride.
Lily weaving in and out of the poles. This teaches her to respect my personal space and move away from me when I walk into her. It also gets her in tune with me and picking up on my body language.

Lily going over poles. This teaches her to go over obstacles on the ground without me there next to her for assistance.

Day 3 of Lily's Training. Great progress made with her wearing the roller during her whole session. We reaped things done on days 1 and 2 and made them a little more difficult by adding trotting into the circling and expanding the obstacle on the ground. Check out the videos of her to see it on action
Rocky Roads latest break-in project. Purebred Arabian mare, 7years. Has had plenty of handling on the ground, she has also had a foal. I plan to be able to do all the basics on her in 4 weeks working her about 3 times a week. Keep checking Rocky Road Equestrian for her progress
Morroccan JayDee out and about, being ridden off the lead for the first time. Walk and trot
Mahnaz
This is a video of Mahnaz, a 5-year-old arabian mare who was with me for 5 weeks. This is a video of her on her second ride out and about. This was only my second time trotting on her and second time off the lead. She is very relaxed and now enjoying getting out and about. She has been a bit hesitant in moving forward and transitioning from walk to trot. As she is not to responsive to a "click" and not very sensitive with me legs, the easiest way to get her to understand my commands was to give her a slight flick with the rope over her whiter while clicking her on. She responded to this much better and by the end of the session she was moving into a trot from a click. At the end of the session I was able to walk her across a open paddock with a loose rein, very impressive with it only being her second ride out. One more ride and she is ready to head back home! =)
Last stages of the breaking-in process
Owners trial ride on Zaavaar before he went home. Making sure he was at the level she wanted and that he was going to be okay with a new person on his back. All went well
Last stages of the breaking-in process
This is the last ride on Zaavaar before he was ready to head home. Making sure he is trotting well and listing to me responsively. First canter
