Have you seen our precious Smudgey?

Smudgey is a big solid Tuxedo, desexed but unfortunately not microchipped and he is not people friendly, so is not approachable. We think he used hang around the butchers, and that he sometimes goes back there, we have been looking after him for four years and this is the longest time we have gone without seeing him.

Smudgey is normally home for breakfast and dinner but we haven’t seen him since breakfast on Monday the 26th of August.

This sweet bonded pair are Honey and Pixie. They are looking for a new furever home as their mum has gone into care, and very sadly no longer remembers them.

Honey & Pixie will be 11 years old in October, they are shy until they get to know you, but with time, patience, lots of love and some treats, they will settle in and claim you as their people.

Honey and Pixie are fixed and chipped, in good health and they are up to date with vaccinations, flea and worm treatments.

We have increased our prices from 1 October 2023, this is our first Price Increase in over four years.

Sample of new standard daily rates:
One Angel in own room $18.50 per day
One Angel in own room with own food provided $16.00 per day

Two Angels sharing a room $29.00 per day
Two Angels sharing a room with own food provided $24.00 per day

Three Angels sharing two rooms $41.00 per day
Three Angels sharing two rooms with own food provided $33.50

After 14 days the rates reduce by $1 per cat per day

For bookings over 28 days we offer a 10% discount on the standard daily rates

If you would like your Angel(s) to have two rooms, which join via an overhead walkway, the second room will be charged at $5 per day to cover the cost of additional kitty litter and cleaning.

Please contact us for daily rates of families with more than 3 Angels over a variety of room combinations to suit.

It was an absolute pleasure to look after stunning Gaia, another majestic Maine C**n with personality plus! After a couple of days to settle in, Gaia explored everywhere, was super playful and very inquisitive ❤💛❤😍

We were very blessed to look after this gorgeous Maine C**ne kitten over the holidays, it was a privilege to get to know him and his lovely family. Paddy’s tail was like the train on a wedding dress, and his paws were incredible!!😍❤️🐾🐾

With much love we honour the life of sweet wee Sashi who crossed over the rainbow bridge on Friday 12 August 2022. Sashi was lovingly looked after by her family, who gave Sashi every opportunity to have her best life. We are so grateful to her mums for entrusting us with Sashi's care and send you both our condolences for your loss.
I would like to thank and acknowledge the teams at Vetlife Oxford and Rangiora Vet Centre for their dedication and care of Sashi in her last days.
Rest now in peace little Sashi.

Posting on behalf of Shirley Watkins a long time customer of Angel Cats Boarding Cattery and a very close friend of Sarah and Michael McDermott.

Shirley now in her 80s has made the difficult decision to move to Australia to be close to her children and is looking for someone to adopt her gorgeous Miss T***sie (Tootie, T***s) and love her unconditionally.

Miss T***sie is 14 1/2 years young and is as fit as a fiddle according to Shirley, a little shy this gorgeous girl loves to find places to hide in the garden during the day and sleeps inside with you at night.
