Kowhai has been running horse riding courses on our farm at Oxford since 1969 and has over 70 well-schooled horses and ponies available. Kowhai's weekend and School Holiday courses are a great alternative to private horse ownership. Courses run most weekends throughout the year and all School Holidays. Kowhai has a private shuttle from Christchurch on Friday & Sunday evenings.
All riding is fully supervised, fun, and educational.
Riders enjoy learning everything from the correct way to catch, groom, saddle, bridle, mount, and basic control of the horse to Dressage, Show Jumping, and Cross Country for experienced riders. Enjoy a mix of lessons and trekking.

We're so pleased to have all three teams in the top eight out of a huge 31 team draw and of course, to take out the win at a very memorable 50th anniversary of Springston Trophy is very special for us.
