We are open this Friday, Canterbury Show Day and weather dependent, I will have a table outside our shop with our Sale items on it.
So pop on out for a "Friday drive" and see what we are all about.
Dogs welcome of course but on lead please.

Christchurch Show Weekend holiday is this coming Friday. So it's a holiday for most in Christchurch, but we have decided to open though.

Hours Friday and Saturday are from 10am until 5pm. Closed Sunday as normal.
Am running out of Mighty Mix, which is a great sign but will have to do a mercy dash to get some on Saturday. Just trying to arrange this now.
Online open 24/7 but no courier pickups on Friday.

Our Spring Sale has started. We have items that are end-of-line, or items that just don't sell. No use keeping them taking up space, so out they go.

We have also decided to sell products that the pet market is over saturated with. Time for a change and bring in some new goodies.

So have the best day ever today, the sun is shining here (a tad chilly though), fresh snow on the hills but we missed most of the southerly yesterday/last night. A bit of thunder and that was about it really.

We have some amazing suppliers and I just want to give a huge thanks to 1 of them. I had already placed an order this week, which I received and then ran out of a product.
After an early morning phone call this morning, O have more product on the way that will please some customers.

We will be not restocking some brands as the market is over saturated, so time to change things around.

Isn't Meeko a very lucky boy, he got the XL Ruff Dawg Ball in Yellow, thanks to his human asking for 1.

These arrived just in time for me to get Meeko's order out the same day and I got a lovely email today saying they had received it super quick before lunch. That meant Meeko could have a play with the XL Ball today. Yay Meeko!

Wow, there are some lovely people out there. Look what a local just dropped off to me. I helped them out with something and got this hand-drawn sketch of their dog.

Retailers, especially small business retailers, have a difficult time sometimes. Not often do we get a lovely thank you, so next time a small retailer does something for you, just thank them. It goes a long way to make their day.

You can often find me reading reviews for dog/cat food, some are great but some are just cheap and not great.

2 brands I looked at this morning were Supervite and DogPro, both made in Australia.
Check them both out below and as they say, knowledge is power. Each to their own, of course. Cheap does not mean the best. Yes we can all buy cheap, but overtime, what is it doing to your dog, does this mean visits to the vet when you haven't had to do before?
