Club night is on tonight! We are looking forward to being back after a few weeks off due to the rain. Sign in is from 5.30pm, racing starts at 6. Can we please have someone to do the bbq and someone to help in the shop.
Also, don’t forget to bring your trophies back from last year please 🙌

Hey guys,
If anyone has any trophies from last year, could we please bring these back to the club asap.

We are also entering a float in the paeroa Santa parade on the 5th December and the ngatea Santa parade on the 11th December. Please either comment below or flick us a message if you would like to join us for one or both parades. We would love to get as many of our club members to join us as we could 😊

IMPORTANT UPDATE if you are planning on racing Tauranga it's been moved to Rotorua. See below

📢 Important Update – Tauranga BMX NQM Meet

Due to circumstances outside of Tauranga BMX Club’s control, the upcoming 2025 Tauranga Meet will now be held at the Rotorua BMX Track on the same date.

A huge thanks to Rotorua BMX Club for stepping in at short notice to ensure the event can still go ahead — giving riders the chance to race, earn points, and enjoy a great day on the track.

If the change of venue doesn’t suit, riders can request a refund by replying to the event confirmation email as soon as possible.

Please note: because the event is proceeding at an alternative venue, a no-show will not automatically result in a favourable NQM dispensation.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and support of Tauranga BMX and Rotorua BMX for making sure this race weekend continues.

Club night is on tonight! Sign in from 5.30pm, racing starts at 6pm. We will have burgers and sausages for sale. We are going to trial something different with the shop tonight as we would love to get more people helping out. So please come see Kirsty in the shop tonight to choose your night for helping out. I need 2 helpers, 1 for the bbq, and 1 for the shop each night.
Also, don’t forget to bring in your lapathon money. You can also make online payments, we have the account number in the shop for you

Last chance to snap up an NQM close to home for Nationals next year

A huge thank you to everyone who turned out to our lapathon on Wednesday night. An amazing 754 laps were done by 37 riders, with 14 riders on the full track doing 30 or more laps and 2 of our half track stars doing a jaw dropping 60 laps.

A special shout out to our friends from Te Aroha BMX Club and Cambridge BMX Club who joined us and all the parents who helped out or chased kids around the the half track, we appreciate you all.

We still haven't broken into the 40s so if you think you can do it join us for the next one.

Don't forget LAPATHON tomorrow night (29/10).

One hour to see how many laps you can do. Will anyone break into the 40s?

There will be a free sausage sizzle and lollies scramble at the end of the hour.

We will need a few helpers to tally the kids and on the track so let us know if you can help.

We will keep an eye on the weather tomorrow and post if it's not going ahead.
