Doggy Daycare in the countryside limited dogs + Structured pack walks in the Palmy/Linton area Hi I am Livy and I am the owner of Kahuterawa K9s.

I have loved dogs since I was a very young girl, having always had them in my life. I knew I had always wanted to work with dogs in some capacity since I could walk. My husband and I have three dogs on our lifestyle block in Linton, backing on to the Kahuterawa Stream. Having this space, we decided to create a purpose built doggy daycare facility that we would want to send our dogs too. We offer a

safe, secure and stimulating environment for dogs of all breeds and sizes. Our facility has an expansive grassed outdoor area with safe obstacles to play on, a mulched area and large trees for shade. We also have a warm indoor space couches for your dog to relax inside. Your dog will be picked up and delivered to and from your house in our tailored van. All dogs are fully supervised throughout the day. Our Daycare facility is limited to 10 dogs per day. I also offer structured pack walks on Tuesdays, where I walk up to a maximum of six dogs at a time. Pack walking helps a dog focus on practicing calm energy and cooperating with one another. This is a two hour adventure of pack walking around the Palmerston North area.

Gin is a 3 year old English Staffy 🐕

Gin loves her toys 🧸, she likes to cart them everywhere she goes, belly rubs and zoomies 💨

On Wednesday evening we said goodbye to our beautiful Chelsea. 💕🌈 🕊️

So many people adored Chelsea and she brought so much happiness and love to so many. You knew you were a favourite of hers if she would give you little love bite kisses 💋

She loved 🎾, tummy rubs, having chats, suckling on her bed, hunting 🐰 and cuddles with her Mumma.

She was the toughest,strongest and most stubborn dog that I have ever met.

Darling girl, you told me you were tired and I listened. I loved you your whole life and I will miss you the rest of mine.

You are and always will be my soul dog. ❤️💔

Meet Max 💙

Max has just moved from Wellington to the Mighty Manawatu 🌬️

A few of his favourite things are sniffing, zooming around (evident from the paddock snaps 📸), not being left out, playing with other dogs and cuddles 🥰.

His parents said he definitely has “only child” syndrome and thinks the world revolves around him 🌍

The crew have made him feel right at home 🏠 🫶

Meet Kahu 👋

Kahu is an 11 month old Staffy X whose ears are always like this 😍

A few of Kahu’s favourite things are;
Going for walks, treats 🍪, playing with other animals and cuddles 🥰

This morning Kahu and I spent some time together having a one on one. He is getting ready to join our Monday Pack Walk crew. 🙌

Pixie 🧚‍♀️;

In traditional regional lore, pixies are generally benign, mischievous, short of stature, and childlike; they are fond of dancing and wrestling outdoors, of which they perform through the night. In the night.
In the modern era, they are usually depicted with pointed ears.

Pixie, you certainly live up to the name (except the benign part 😂).

Our precious Red Dog passed away on Tuesday afternoon. Although it was not expected; we are thankful he died in his sleep, laying in the sun under our plum tree.

Anyone who ever met Red Dog knows how truly special of a dog he was, he touched many peoples (and dogs) lives. We are so privileged to have been his parents.

Red you are the bestest boy, we love you so much. 🦊 💚 🌈 🕊️

Meet Kaha 👋 💚

Kaha is a 5 month old chocolate Labrador. His favourite things are; food, food and more food 🍪

He loves water 💦 , long walks on the beach, followed by eating 🥣

He will chase every broom in site 🧹

Kaha has had the best first day ☀️ 🍂 everyone has been very welcoming and he has instantly become apart of the Kahuterawa K9 Family 🫶

At just 6 months old, Kilo is a bundle of energy and joy, with a mix of Labrador and Mastiff in his DNA 🧬

His favorite pastimes include chewing on bones, playing tag, and making new pals wherever he goes. 🩵

Plus, he’s a champion licker, spreading love and happiness to everyone he meets! 🐾

Today we welcomed 6.5 month old Frankie, the Dalmatian. 💚

Frankie is Tilly’s younger brother and for quite some time has wanted to see where Tilly goes every week.

Frankie loves racing around on walks with Tilly, chasing sticks in the river and meeting people and other dogs to play with whilst out and about. 🐾 🦮

Tilly swapped her day this week so she could show Frankie the ropes, what a great big Sister! 🩷💙

It was a bit of a wet one today ☔️🌦️ But the dogs have had an absolute blast in the paddock 💥 💦 🐕 We will need to go dry off by the fire 🔥 before drop offs 😂 🚐

Today the Wednesday crew celebrated Frankie’s 3 year adopt-a-versary 💜 We did lots of paddock hoons, admired a beautiful rainbow 🌈 and then came back and had the delicious Pupcakes 🧁 (a huge thank you to Frankie’s Mum for supplying these) by the fire 🔥 A day well spent with her daycare family 🫶

Today our Pack Walk + Play crew celebrated the gorgeous Milo turning 4! 🎉 ☀️. A big thank you to Milo’s Mum for proving the chicken bagel 🥯 treats for everyone 🩷🙌

Today we celebrated Blaze turning 3! 🎉🐾 Blaze requested that we light the fire for everyone to relax around in the afternoon, and his mum bought everyone treats to share. 🙏🔥 🍂 It’s been a great day 💙

Today on our Adventure Friday we celebrated two very good boys birthdays 🎉 💙. Scout has turned one and Alfie has turned two! 🥳. It’s been a good day! 🐾
