Say hi to Becs, one of our awesome daycare handlers who has been with us for over 2 years. She has completed both her Bachelors and Masters in Animal Science and also works part time at Wellington Zoo 🦁 She is an expert in animal behaviour and has a wealth of theoretical knowledge 🧠 You can find Becs on the Monday Pack Walk, taking birthday photos, doting on Steve the blue tongue lizard, or driving the daycare bus! 🤟

Cas started at Unleashed in 2022 and was working full time while completing her Bachelor of Business Studies 🥵. Cas is the resident bob the builder, and can fix pretty much anything that’s broken. She hopes to open her own dog adoption business one day 🩷 You can find Cas on the Wednesday and Thursday Pack Walk, hanging with the chill big dogs, and driving the daycare bus 🤩

Rebecca is our longest standing staff member having been here since 2020 👵🏻 She has a level 5 certificate in animal technology as well as having completed various dog behaviour courses. Rebecca has the best memory of dog histories and is the go to person for sorting out group dynamics 🧨 You can find her on the Monday and Friday Pack Walk, taking awesome group shots, and chatting to clients in reception 😁

Today, we farewelled long-term family member, Ricky! 🐾 He's such a sweet boy with a small bit of cheekiness, who was always down for a cuddle (or a treat)! 🐶 We will miss him greatly and wish him luck on his future adventures! 🛫

Emma is our amazing manager and dog treat baker! She has a certificate in animal care and small business management 📝 She has years of experience dog walking and dog sitting so hit her up if you’re going away 👀 If you like the look of any of our pupcakes, biscuits or treats you have Emma and her diploma in patisserie to thank! 🧁 You can find her on the Thursday and Friday Pack Walk, giving out lots of cuddles, baking dog treats and keeping everyone in line 😎

Everyone should know Anjuli’s face, after all this is her business! If you haven’t had the pleasure of meeting the boss here she is! 🫡 Anjuli has too many qualifications to list but she started out as a Vet Nurse working for over 6 years but started to notice that lots of clients had to keep their dogs home all day due to various commitments 💔 So to fill this void she opened Palmy’s first doggy daycare! Anjuli loves hanging out with the dogs and she finds watching shy dogs grow in confidence the most rewarding part of the job 💞

Today we celebrated Misty’s 8th birthday 🥳
She was joined by her long time daycare friends Herbie and Luna 💗 Misty was very patient while we took a photo of her with her cake but as soon as the all clear was given she had no hesitation digging in 😂

Misty has been a valued member of the Unleashed family for many years 🥰 We have loved watching Misty grow and make new friends with us 🐶 Happy birthday Misty! We look forward to spending many more birthdays with you ❤️

Snippets from night 2 of the Unleashed puppy class! Over the past 2 weeks at puppy class, each puppy worked towards their individual goals, as well as going over basic grooming tips and nail care. The skills covered were sit, down, stay, leave it, look, and touch. We also touched on boundaries around doorways and taught a basic understanding of body blocking. Well done pups and owners! 🐶🐕‍🦺🐾
