🔷𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐌 𝐀𝐁𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐄𝐓𝐇𝐘🔷 again has teams racing both sides of the Tasman tonight with Conor McGregor NZ and Peter Forsberg NZ lining up at Newcastle for trainer Nathan Anderson with Conor McGregor NZ to be driven by Tom Callaghhan (C,3) and Nathan will drive Peter Forsberg NZ driver Bryson Grima:
Conor McGregor NZ starting in Race 1 at 6:10pm AU time (NZ approx. 8:10pm)
TAB (abridged) Race Comments Conor McGregor NZ #5 -Last start 10th (Sr3) over 2030m at this track. Capable of more than he has shown recently. From a better draw can play a role.
Peter Forsberg NZ starting in Race 2 in Race 2 at 7:10pm AU time (NZ approx. 9:10pm)

🔷𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐌 𝐀𝐁𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐄𝐓𝐇𝐘🔷 𝐉𝐚𝐲 is back to Cambridge tonight (although he will be watching with interest also his horses racing at Newcastle NSW) with his team of three, Midfrew Lucre in Race 3, Eagle Hanover in Race 4 and Henrik Lundqvist in Race 10. Jay will also have 2 drives for Trainer Ival Brownlee.

🔷𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐌 𝐀𝐁𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐄𝐓𝐇𝐘🔷 My Lightning McQueen NZ is the teams sole starter at Menangle after changing stables to Sofia Arvidsson who will also drive her, she will start from #10 in Race 2 at 2:17pm AU time (NZ approx. 4:17pm)
TAB (abridged) Race Comments: First up. At the last run she 10th (Fr5) over 2300m after showing early speed at this track was leading by 4m on the pegs at the bell. Keep safe fresh.

TAB (abridged) Race Comments: Began his campaign last start running was well back in the run when 7th (Fr7) over 1609m at this track. Facing a tough assignment this time around.

🔷𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐌 𝐀𝐁𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐄𝐓𝐇𝐘🔷𝐉𝐚𝐲 head down to Palmerston North for the Manawatu H.R.C. "Mini 6" race meeting to kick off their 2024/25 season, without any stable starters but with 5 drives, 3 for Doug Gale and 1 each for Arna Donnelly and Wendy Devenport.

Conor McGregor NZ starting in Race 1 at 6:25pm AU time (NZ approx. 8:25pm)
TAB (abridged) Race Comments Conor McGregor NZ -Resuming after a spell of four months. Finished off last campaign when well beaten into seventh behind Kaitoa at Menangle over 1609m in a 4yo+ NR up to 58 on July 13. Could make his presence felt.

Peter Forsberg NZ starting in Race 2 in Race 2 at 6:52pm AU time (NZ approx. 8:52pm)
TAB (abridged) Race Comments Peter Forsberg NZ -4th (Sr1) over 2030m at this track was 3rd-8.93 at the bell, beaten 16 m by Cool Night (2:25.50) in NR up to 57 on October 18.. Before that failed to finish when he ran at Penrith on September 19 over 1720m. Needs to lift.

🔷𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐌 𝐀𝐁𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐄𝐓𝐇𝐘🔷 Gisselle is starting at Bathurst tonight for Trainer/Driver Ashlee Grives in Race 3 at 7:13pm AU time (NZ approx. 9:13pm).
TAB (bridged) Race Comments - Two back was well beaten into tenth after being driven well back, behind Bettors Hope at this track over 1730m in a NR up to 60, then a handy effort when beaten by 1.5 m finishing second after a quick start, behind Special Spin at this track over 2260m in a NR up to 52. Should go well again off the same draw.

TAB (abridged) Race Comments -Didn't finish last start at Penrith and two back was well back in the run when 8th (Fr6) over 1609m at this track. Prefer to see him find form before recommending

🔷𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐌 𝐀𝐁𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐄𝐓𝐇𝐘🔷 𝐉𝐚𝐲 takes a team of 2 to support the 2024 NZ JUNIOR DRIVERS CHAMPIONSHIP at Cambridge tonight. Eagle Hanover in Race 4 will be driven by Crystal Hackett (J) and Onetangi Girl will have the services of Max Hill (J) to do the steering.

The McMillan Equine Feeds NZ Junior Driver Championship will be held next week at Cambridge Raceway and Addington Raceway.

Nominations are out for Cambridge and are looking a little low!

We are hoping for three full heats (12 horses) in Cambridge so please if you have something suitable nominate now!

Nominations have been left open until tomorrow (Friday) at 9am.

The races are penalty free so why not help out our Juniors!
