TAB (abridged) Race Comments: MY LIGHTNING MCQUEEN (7) cops a big handicap but the form reads well, kicking off the campaign with back-to-back wins here before a last-start fourth.

TAB (abridged) Race Comments: Seven-year-old gelding is racing in fine form. Won his last two outings at this track. Last start won by 5 m after showing early speed. Back here for a tilt at the hat-trick and with even luck will prove very hard to stop.

Onetangi Girl also starts for the team in Race 2, and will be driven by John Kriechbaumer. Jay along with driving Stella Maris will also drive Murtle The Turtle again after his first start win for Trainer Ival Brownlee.

Connor McGregor gets the job done Great work Kerryn Tomlinson

Kerryn Tomlinson claimed an important victory in Heat 6 of the Australasian Young Drivers Championship at Newcastle tonight. Competing against some of the best young talent from Australasia, Kerryn delivered a well-timed drive to take the win.

Kerryn drove Conor McGregor for trainer Nathan Anderson. Conor McGregor was bred and is owned by Jay and Wayne Abernethy - go the kiwis!

Congratulations to Kerryn on the win —an exciting result as the series continues!
