Update Sept 2022 - I am very excited about the future of Heidesa as I will be breeding Miniature American Shepherds in a couple of years time. Sad to say I am no longer breeding Border Collies but I still love hearing how my Heidesa dogs are doing, so please keep posting updates of them :)
We have been breeding for 35 years and produce chocolate, red , tri-colour , blue merles and the traditiona
l black and white Border Collie. We pride our lines for having exceptional temperaments and the willingness to work. Many of our puppies go to obedience and agility competition homes but others that are a little more laid back make wonderful pets. We have bred many Obedience Champions and Obedience Grand Champions, as well as tracking and agility titled dogs. Heidesa dogs have also taken out many of top prizes in National shows and National Dog Obedience Assemblies. Our dogs do not just have top working lines in behind them but they themselves have gone out in the competition world and proven time again that Heidesa really does have that special quality that makes them winners. John and Maxine are senior dog obedience judges and have been judging for over 30 years. They have also competed in obedience and won and judged at the highest level and at many National events. Maxine herself has trained five Obedience Grand Champions. It is through their success at breeding, training, judging and competing that they have accumulated a vast amount of experience and knowledge in the many aspects of the dog world.
