Precision Saddle Fit NZ is owned and operated by Alice Pollitt who is a Qualified Society of Master Saddlers UK Saddle Fitter. Alice completed her 3 year saddle fitting apprenticeship and became fully qualified in the UK in 2015. Alice is one of only five QSF's in New Zealand.

Alice is able to assess horse and rider and advise the fit of your existing saddle and make alterations and adjustments

if necessary many of which can be done on site while you wait. She can also recommend and comment on potential purchases of new or used saddles of any brand.

Our first trip to Kerikeri was a total success! We met some beautiful horses including Forrest the famous Friesian (pictured with Morgan who could not resist a quick sit on 😍) and accidentally almost stole a cat!

We’re planning another trip up end of April/early May so if you’re interested in booking a refit or test ride please get in touch.

We are holding a saddle fitting clinic at Woodbine Sport Horses on Monday 15th April and have sessions available from midday onwards 🐴

💌 Please send us a message if you’d like to book in for a check/refit of your existing saddle/s or if you are after a test ride, new/used saddle fitting or independent, qualified, experienced advice - we can help!

Fittings usually take 90 mins, cost is $210 plus $10 ground fee. Discounted rate for refits within 6 months.

PSF has been quietly operating in Northland for the past few years but in the last wee while we’ve been secretly testing the waters and have done a few saddle fitting trips away. It has been so lovely to reconnect with previous clients who have patiently awaited our return and meet some new combinations along the way. 🦄

After some successful runs to Auckland and Waikato (minus getting T b***d at a roundabout 😅) we are looking to plan some more adventures further afield. We would like to hold a few clinics around Auckland, Cambridge & Greater Northland in the coming months.
