On a personal note this last week has been a nightmare, first we lose dear Maggie our little lady springer spaniel then yesterday dear wee Waimai Diamonti pass over the Rainbow bridge 🌈rest easy my girls both wonderful, caring, not a dirty bone in either girls ###x
Then top it off broken tooth tucking into the fruit salad at lunch !!!!!

Foals are growing along with the lambs, must wean our peachie filly, Waimai PS Priscilla. You may remember she was a late foal but looking at her you would not think so 😍

She is going to be so easy to prep for the show ring, look at that coat!! No cover, so very much like her Sire.

Here at Waimai we have been flat out with feeding out, lambing, winter dressage, oh and a new job.

Ponies have wintered well and happy to say over the last few days we have started and finished foaling. Both ladies have produced two cracking c**ts, albeit the last giving us a scare as I found him out on the road!!!! Checked her at 2 am, again at 7 and noticed she was looking rather frantic so hoped on bike to find foal wrong side of gate !! Lucky mare and foal ok and doing really well .

Both foals will be looking for new post codes super LR \FR stud prospects

Here at Waimai we love to see and hear of the ponies we bred adventures, and love the update on what they have been doing.

Now that the Welsh Pony and Cob Society of NZ is no longer going to keep record of change of ownership this is going to be hard to keep up to date . If you have a Waimai pony we loved to hear about their updates and adventures .

So this wee madam was born very late in the season, hence she has not run with anyone else except her mum as didn’t want her to get in foal again. She has a lot to learn and weaning will commence for her very very soon. She is going to be a super show filly I think !! ❤️⭐️

So these lovelies start on their long journey south, looking forward to watching their adventures. Had 2 others leave at beginning of the week so happy husband as we have no grass.

These two lovely foals are such time wasters. The grey filly is sporting a Mohawk mane thanks to the playful c**t who likes to chew it!!! I am loving him, such a handsome lad. Still waiting for our last very late foal, come on peach !!!
