Mac, Life Starts Now At one year old Mac was rescued from Rotorua Pound’s death row. In Mac's third year he was hit by a vechicle & sustained serious injuries to both hind legs.

Mac has been donating pet bowls, leads, collars, harnesses, dog toys and a pet bed to a new volunteer organisation to help feed dogs of families in these hard economic times and to hopefully slow the number of dogs being surrendered as some families struggle to feed their dogs. Barry’s Food Bank has just started up in the Timaru and surrounding areas and also takes donations of bowls, beds, leads etc. Mac also donated a bag of dog food from a friend. 😁

Mac does not like this new treat I bought last week. It’s called K9 Chew - a protein cheese bar, 99.9% milk. Mac wanted to go outside (and bury it) and when I wouldn’t open the door he walked around with it in his mouth. Made no attempt to chew it. I don’t tho k he likes it.not
