Finally got the first ride on Dior today. Took two weeks but sometimes you've got to be thorough, especially with a horse like Dior.

This is Leo. I've had him for nearly six weeks now and Ive started him under saddle. He is a very good little pony, very cheeky. I get him in without a halter and do everything around the barn with no halter on him also. He knows he has to stand in the cross ties and wait but lately he has developed a little habit of leaving them while I'm out of his sight. So I let him make the mistake then come back in and send him back to stand.

Day 10: Tango has had his first ride which he took all in his stride. It was a text book first ride for the Kaimanawa, very pleased with how he has been progressing so far.
