Hello to all friends of the Tabby.... furry and not so furry! 🐾👋
Some time ago my husband John and I made the decision we would put our property on the market... with the intent to relocate back to the South Island, nearer to family.
The real estate sign went up beginning of May. Many people came to view and loved our little slice of paradise. Consequently.... SOLD we are! Its been a bit of a whirlwind, however all falling into place... amazingly. We have bought a new home in sunny Blenheim and will be making the journey south later this month.
Exciting times, although... a double-edged sword. Sadly, the Tabby doors will not be reopening.... it is very sad to say goodbye to our lovely, cats' retreat and all of it's charming fur guests.
A huge thank you everyone for your loyal support and entrusting me with your precious ones... its been a real pleasure and an honor being 'cat mum' to so many amazing, unique, little souls.
Also, I would like to thank those feline fans who have followed the Downton Tabby page! Some I have never met but with whom I have enjoyed the exchange of comments and cat chat!
As John and I turn to a new chapter in our lives, I will always have gorgeous memories of the Downton Tabby years. Thank you again.... and may our lives forever be enriched by the love of felines.
