Hi Folks,

I’ve had a change of business recently, as to how It's Walk Day is run.
This is because I’ve had surgery at the end of last year and been in recovery. This means I can’t walk my usual 3-4 size groups of dogs and currently I am just offering one on one type walks.

I love walking dogs, being out on the tracks and fitness etc, so wondered if anyone in the community has a gentle dog they need walked regularly?

Today was one of those days where you’re doing exactly what people imagine you doing when you say you’re a dogwalker. Out in the sunshine walking dogs and being paid for the pleasure. There’s lots of work that goes into owning a dog walking company and these days definitely happen but not all the time. We’ve definitely walked in freezing winds and pouring rain. I have had wet smelly muddy dogs in my vehicle on a daily basis.
So we definitely make the most of these types of sunny days. I’ve been thinking of offering all day longer adventures over summer. Where the dogs have like a picnic lunch stop in the middle of the day. Built for days like today when nobody is in a rush to head home and all dogs are loving being outdoors having fun. Decided to take the dogs to Meola Reef in Pt Chev to meet some inner city dogs. We meet quite a few lovely owners and their dogs. Such a beautiful park to walk around and stunning day.

We discovered a path which lead to a little beach and a path through to a park. Five dogs is probably my limit dog-wise. It’s very busy keeping them all safe and having fun.
