Back home from a wonderful trip to Europe where we caught up with family and friends. We had a great time and made lots of fantastic memories.
Happy to be home again in this beautiful part of the world
I am now well rested and ready to take on ponies and horses for schooling, training, starting and am also available for lessons, either riding or groundwork.

Isuzu Forward reliable Horse Truck

This truck has been amazing for us, never let us down and we have taken it around the country. Always been serviced and well maintained. Only for sale as we have no one competing anymore.
The cab and the body have been fully repainted half a year ago, all rust has been removed.
4 new rear tyres have been fitted.

Primo is now ready for a new rider

Super Allrounder
Our beautiful horse Primo (show name Kilmarnoch) is up for sale as his rider is moving overseas.
Primo is a 13yo, 16.2hh TB who is currently successfully competing at 2* Eventing, 120cm Show Jumping and Level 3 Dressage (just stepping up to Level 4), all with wins and placings at National Level.
He is a responsive ride and ridden all phases in a snaffle. Is ready to step up to 3* but is also great for taking a younger/inexperienced rider around smaller heights.

He was his rider’s first hack and they have competed together for the last 3 years. Together they passed their Pony Club A Certificate, won the DC trophy at NZ Pony Club Championship last year, were 6th at Champs this year in Taranaki in the A1 section with a solid performance in all phases.
They were also second highest scoring at the 2022 SI dressage champs, placed in the top 3 at both the SI 2day and 3 Day in the 2* class and have numerous show jumping wins including the horse 1.20m at Labour weekend. He has a speedy jump off which is hard to beat without being hot and strong.
Too may wins and placings to list them all but hardly ever comes home without a ribbon.
Primo is a super honest jumper, always trying his very best and is confident and bold with all types of fences including water, skinnies, ditches etc.
He is fantastic on the ground, easy to take out, float/truck, good to hack on his own or with others and has no vices.
He has been to Pony Club, beach and forest hacks, swimming in the river and to A&P shows where he has also competed at RTR Hunter with wins.
He is healthy, fit and ready to go

AMAZING ALLROUNDER
Major is an 8 year old 16.1h St. James gelding.
Super safe, easy going horse, fantastic to do everything with.
He has successfully competed at Eventing up to 105cm, Show Jumping and show hunter to 110cm and does a solid dressage test. Major has placings in many disciples including at national level.
Major is super bold in cross country although he doesn’t get hot or strong either. He is ready to go up to 2* eventing, we only haven’t stepped him up as he is not FEI registered yet. He is also happy to pop around 80cm with no issues. He is confident with any jump including water, ditches, and skinnies.
We have taken major out and about on hacks and to the beach and he is super easy to ride on his own or with others. He is good in the mouth and has always been ridden in a snaffle.
Major is super easy to have around. Good to float, truck, wash etc and stays very chill when at competitions. He is absolutely sure footed, easy to handle and very polite on the ground.
He would suit a teenager coming off a pony or an adult just wanting to have a safe horse to do various activities with.

Sad and Exciting News:
The last year has been hard for many businesses. I have made the difficult decision of closing down the Riding School due to many various factors playing their part. I have very much enjoyed all my clients and the fun times we all had. There will still be lessons until all ponies are sold.
The good news:
There will be full Agistment available here on our farm with fantastic facilities for riding and assurance your horse or pony will be well looked after
I am still available for lessons on your own horse/pony
I will also have more focus on training and schooling horses/ponies and giving support for any sales.

We will be open and horse riding lessons will be back again from tomorrow onwards, Level 2 measures will be in place. Please make sure you follow the guidelines too. Looking forward to welcoming everyone back, let's hope the sun will come for us too

I hope everyone's lockdown is going well. We are trying our best to keep the ponies fit while in Level 4 and 3. Once we are going into Level 2 we will be able to open our riding school again and get back on board of our lovely ponies and horses. They are all well and are definitely looking forward to getting out of the mud
