Tonight some of our community may be celebrating Guy Fawkes 🎆 If your pooch is anxious or doesn't like the sound, tune in at 6pm to RNZ concert. They have pet friendly music, and will even take pet requests.

RNZ Concert is offering a Guy Fawkes night radio show of music chosen to be gentle for pets, and people, during fireworks, in collaboration with SPCA.

Hours are as follows:
Saturday 26th October - CLOSED
Monday 28th October - CLOSED
Tuesday 29th October - Open from 8am, as usual.

If your animals require medical attention during this time please see below:

Small animals emergencies- After Hours is open all weekend, located at 146 Antigua Street 03 366 1052.

Equine emergencies - please call the clinic as usual on 03 349 9946 and you will be re-directed to the Vet on call.

All our usual services will resume from Tuesday 29th October, 8am.

We wish all our clients, and their furry friends big and small a nice long weekend!

With our pet food bag recycling going so well we have now joined a scheme with the same company to start recycling most of our surgical masks, gloves and protective gear rather than having them going into regular waste and landfill.

On Monday 16th & Wednesday 18th the team will be baking and selling cupcakes in reception for the annual SPCA CUPCAKE DAY. Money raised will be donated back to the SPCA.

Congratulations to our recent Puppy School Graduates Cleo, Yogi (absent) , Rusty, Gus and Ruby!

We thank everyone who has taken part in our puppy school program over the past few years.

Unfortunately we are putting a hold on these classes for now due to our current staff shortage. We apologies for this, as we know its such a great opportunity for our puppies.

We hope to be back up and running in the new year....watch this space!

Puppy school is a great way to socialise young pups in a controlled manor and get them used to a vet clinic environment.

We have just finished up on yet another round of Hill’s Pet Nutrition puppy preschool classes and what a class we had.

Congratulations on graduating Georgie, Tui, Jett, Zoey and Stanley 🐶🎓

Puppy class is not only for learning about raising and training your new puppy but is highly beneficial for the socialisation with other pups, people as well as nurturing a positive association with the clinic.
