While we are all in lockdown, we might be planning on carrying out a bit of home improvement. There are quite a few hazards around the house and Jessie’s owners have allowed us to share this video to inform owners of one of the potential risks. Jessie was a little too inquisitive yesterday and decided to taste the weed killer that her owner was spraying around the garden!! Thankfully her owners were very quick to discover her shaking in her kennel and she was rushed in for emergency treatment last night. Jess spent the night in hospital on intravenous fluids and thankfully has made a full recovery. 🐶❤️
Stay safe
We thought a ‘ski theme’ was appropriate for Barney who has just undergone surgery to repair a ruptured cruciate ligament as it’s also a common injury in Skiers this time of year 😁❤️🐶⛷
Gorgeous Aurora the Devon Rex didn’t seem too phased during recovery from her spay this week.
At VetEnt Queenstown we recommend neutering from as early as 12 weeks (weight dependent) as it is not only is beneficial for the health and wellbeing of your pet but helps population control by preventing unwanted pregnancies. ❤️😻😸
How cute is this?... this little duckling was rescued from strong rapids on the Shotover river by the super crew of Go Orange. He’s now with an incredible fosterer Kathryn and will have a lot of ducklings to grow up with.
How adorable is this video of Hank the Dog receiving a well earned massage from his new feline friend?
This little kitten was a foster kitten for Queenstown Cat Rescue but Fosterer Karine just couldn’t separate the 2 new best friends and now little kitten has a forever home 😸.
Queenstown Cat Rescue do amazing work trapping wild kittens from around Queenstown, Cromwell and Wanaka and fostering them until they are ready for adoption. Trap-neuter-adopt schemes are not only great for the kittens but for the native wildlife of the country.
