Great Mates - Rangiora We are a greyhound rehoming kennel for retired racers. We prepare these beautiful greys for the agencies to take for adoption.

We work in with 4 rehoming agencies, Greyhounds as pets, KiwiKiwi hounds, May hounds and Nightrave greyhounds.

Jet 🖤
Our special boy who can be misunderstood at times. Jet is an anxious lad who completely relies on human interaction/touch for reassurance. He just wants to feel safe. These type of hounds always turn into the most loyal 🫶🏼🥹🥹

- This weekend we say goodbye to zeus who has entered foster care to learn the ropes of pet life. He will head to a family who have a greyhound called Queen 👸 🫶🏼 who seems to foster savvy! Zeus is affectionate, playful and super friendly - triple threat 🕺 as we say "Zeus wants no trouble - hes everyone's friend!" Zeus can live with any breed dogs aswell as cats! 😻 look out for the dude on the website!
■ Oscar, 'Mr perfect' (number 5😆) had a very successful meet and greet and ventured off with his new family - he will be best friends with the little boy and his 2 cats 🤩

● Leo our shy boy heads off to his family 💕 these lovely people specifically asked for a shy gentle giant and Leo was the exact definition of this! 🥹😍 thank you Greyhounds As Pets NZ 💖 We will miss you but your bro Joe will now come in 🤩
● We had the Opawa team out for some assessments with their team of hounds, got some stunners 101ers in the mix.
● Bubba the sitting hound and Zeus the puppy had a meeting with Lisa from GAP 🤗 Apparently someone already wants Zeus!
● And we welcome Anita, Drummond and Rach into the rehoming base to prepare for their next step - their forever homes 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼 Keep an eye for the newbies.

● To start Saturday off :
♡ we say goodbye to slim, our beautiful black goddess who does everything perfect. Her lovely family traveled from Blenheim to collect her. Thank you to KiwiKiwi Hounds Adoption for finding slims perfect match 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
♡ Leo and trixie had successful meet and greets ✨️🫶🏼🥹 they did us so proud. Leo leaves us next week.
● Sunday antics :
♡ we said goodbye to 3 dream hounds, Raffa, Nora and Trixie. LUCKY BABIES. Raffa match was found through KiwiKiwi Hounds.

♡Sweet nora stayed with the Rehab to Rehome - Canterbury team while Greyhounds As Pets NZ and us found her perfect fit. Her meet and greet went amazing today and of course they took her home! 💕 Thank you to the rtr team for your loving care and dedication to your hounds.

Weekend FUN 😆✌️🤘
♡ We had one very successful meet and greet with a lovely girl, ready to venture the world aswell as take on illamas.
♡ We said goodbye to a beautiful girl who reminds me of a barn owl at times. She's living it up in fendalton as of Saturday through kiwi kiwi Hounds ☺️☺️☺️☺️
♡ We welcomed a handful of new kids on the block - Here is the beautiful Star, Carly 🖤 and Mack 🧡 to begin the introductions.
♡ River and Sean leave us for foster with mayhounds, janice and donna 🙈💖 But before they head to foster they'll get a day out at Canine Neuropark®© Open-Day with Hounds Go down and see them! Both are avaliable for adoption 👋👋👋👋👋👋

Busy bees! Buzz buzz 🐝🐝🐝
Yesterday we had a large assessment day with onsite hounds and off site hounds and let's just say we seen some dream dogs!! 💭🤤 Cat trainables 😻 and family orientated 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦hounds yes please! Watch this space as they all start entering. You don't want to miss out! 🤪We also now have a puppy rottweiler called stella.... SYKE. Shes steves from Tevra Dog Training 2022 and she will help us when she is older. She is just supervising her bro cash at the moment.

Brax and Nelly helping us prepare the 5 greyhound paper work leaving rangiora this week! 😱😱💖
These greyhounds have been flying out the door and we dont know what to do with ourselves! 🥴🥴😩🥹🥹🥹😵😵‍💫🤯🤯🤯
- New beginnings for them but an end of era for us. How beautiful and bittersweet it is 💔❤️‍🩹

Brax begun by grabbing a folder outta my hand and taking off (He likes the plastic sound) and then Nelly had to see if it was food. It wasn't and she was a SAD fatty.
