Another training walk in Rangiora today, dogs practicing their manners at steps, tied out of sight stays in a busy area, a visit to the SPCA Op shop, Animates pet store and finishing up at Coffee Culture Cafe. Once again everyone was so well behaved, thanks to all of the training the handlers put in

Great morning for our Christchurch central city walk today, not to hot or to cold. The dogs (and owners) behaved perfectly and got to visit a shoe shop and a book store. As usual we attracted a lot of attention (as you do with 12 dogs walking in a group😀)and the dogs enjoyed being talked to and patted by various people. Finished off the walk with coffees, icecreams and cold drinks.

Last training session before Christmas tonight with 6mth old Juno a SPCA special (Greyhound or Whippet cross) and her human Mum.

I had the pleasure of having this young fella in today with his humans, who have only had him for about a week, 5mth old Rotty cross, Caesar. A bright, confident boy who picked things up really well.

Tonight I had Parker the 8yo Labradoodle and some of his family in for a session. Parker doesn't realise he's 8 and likes to think he's still a crazy pup 🤣

Last week we had Nelly the Spoodle in with her human family, tonight it was her litter brother Murphy and his human family, he was just as confident and fun as his sister.

Meet 9.5wk Spoodle Nelly who popped in for a session this morning with her human parents who came to Tevra many moons ago with their previous dog. Next week we get to meet her litter brother Murphy and his new parents.

More fun today with our North Canterbury classes breakup party, the sausage retrieve was back as was the egg catching plus we added in the ball catch for the dogs. More pictures to follow once the teenage daughter sends them to me!!

Well done to our instructor Anne and her dog Scout (Aka Fat Bum) on gaining their Canine Good Citizen Gold today and also to Harriet with Maggie on gaining Canine Good Citizen Silver. Well done all of you ! Thanks to Ann Coulson todays assessor and also to the Selwyn Dog Training Club for making our Tevra crew feel welcome
