I have been a professional Canine Behaviourist and Dog Trainer since 2006, where the majority of my training was carried out in Central Otago. I pride myself on offering a professional and affordable service to all dog owners, whether they require obedience training for their dog or answers to problem behaviours. In my career I have dealt with a range of behavioural problems ranging from aggressiv

e dogs right through to fearful dogs. The good news is that all can be rehabilitated, it’s never too late. I am committed to helping all dog owners throughout the South Island to obtain the best relationship and bond they can with their canine friends. A relationship where the dog has a healthy respect for their devoted owner.

**Beginners Dog Training Course Rangiora** (FULLY BOOKED)

I have a Beginners Dog Obedience Course which is due to start on Tuesday, the 29th of April at 6.30pm. If you are keen to come along to this course, please let me know, and I can secure you and your pup/dog a space in class 🙂

Class information:
# Location K9 Campus, 459 Fernside Rd, Rangiora
# Time Tuesday 6.30pm to 7.30pm
# Cost $160.00 for the 4-week course
# This course is suitable for social pups/dogs of all ages
# Focus in class is on the 4 basics of "sit", "stay", "walking on lead properly", and "coming back when called" with a socialisation (playtime) at the end of class.

If you are keen to bring your pup/dog along, please message me and I can book you a space in class.

**Intermediate Dog Training Course Rangiora** (1 Space Avail)

I have just had a space become available in my Intermediate Dog Obedience Course which is due to start this coming Tuesday the 25th of March if anyone is interested 🙂

Class information:

# Location indoors K9 Campus, 459 Fernside Rd, Rangiora
# Time Tuesday 25th March 7.45pm to 8.45pm
# Cost $120.00 for the 4 week course
# Focus in class is on, out of sight stays, drop-on recall, walking your dog off lead, step-overs, directional sending, etc
# Socialisation (playtime) at the end of class
# It would be beneficial to have completed a Beginners Course first unless your dog is able to "stay" in a line with another 5 dogs while you walk away a 7 metre distance.

**Timing, Trust and Manners Course - Rangiora** (FULLY BOOKED)

I have spaces available in my Timing, Trust, and Manners Course which is due to start on Wednesday the 16th of October, if anyone is interested please message me 🙂

Class information is as follows:

# Venue K9 Campus 459, Fernside Rd
# Time 6.30pm to 7.30pm
# Cost $160.00 for the 4-week course
# During this course we focus on timing by using "mark words", building trust and respect between dog and handler, the "collar" command as well as the "go to" and "see you" commands when around other people and dogs.
# Suitable for social dogs of all ages

I just wanted to share this lovely story 🐶🐶🥰

I did a one-on-one session with the fabulous senior Boxer Riley and Bridie the Boxer pup about a month ago where the issue was Riley being able to accept another dog in the household.

Riley has never been very good around other dogs which his family had managed well up until the gorgeous wee Bridie was introduced into the family!

The great news is that with some good structure and allowing Riley to build his confidence with Bridie the family is now getting along beautifully 🥰

Needless to say, Riley and Bridie's Mum and Dad are absolutely over the moon 💞

**Beginners Fun Agility Classes - Rangiora** (SPACES AVAIL)

I have spaces available in my Beginners Fun Agility Course which is due to start this coming Sunday the 7th of April, if anyone is interested please message me 🙂

Class information as follows:
* Venue K9 Campus, 459 Fernside Rd, Rangiora
* Dates for this course Sunday 7th, 14th and 28th of April and Sunday the 6th of May
* Time 4pm to 4.45pm
# Cost $80.00 for the 4 week course
# Focus is on hurdles, tunnels, weaves and starts
# Suitable for dogs 12 months and over
# Dogs need to have completed my Beginners Dog Obedience or have a good recall and be social with other dogs to attend this course.

I caught up for a one-on-one session with the gorgeous Narla on Monday and I just had to share the awesome trick she has 🐶❤️❤️

Narla loves to sing and if her owners sing or hold a tune Narla joins in, just gorgeous 🥰

Just back from an amazing one-on-one session with a fabulous owner and her lab. Her lab is a wee bit reactive when she sees other dogs where she is vocal, and can pull and lunge towards them. Once out on the walk we had a lovely lady and her lab come past and was only too keen to help us work through this behaviour with my client's dog, within minutes the pair of them were sitting nicely beside each other and even had a brief head to head meet and greet. Not long after another lady came along with their Lab and allowed us to do the same process.

What I love the most about this session is the fact that now my client has a wee group of dogs that she will be able to walk together with regularly, which is amazing for her and her dog💕

The power of the dog 🐶and bringing people together and connecting communities, I just love this 🥰

“Thanks for visiting''. I have been a dog trainer and professional dog behaviourist since 2006. In 2008 I completed the ‘Principles of Canine Behaviour’ paper through Massey University. I pride myself on offering a professional and friendly training service to all dog owners, whether you are looking at group obedience training for your dog / puppy or one-on-one sessions to help answer any unwanted behavioural or training issues. I offer a ‘choice’ based behaviour / training approach, as this ensures that your dog understands how to behave regardless if you are around or not.

My rates are affordable, so I can reach and educate as many dog owners as possible. I want every dog owner to experience the same amazing relationship that I have with my 3 dogs, Max, Chase and Blue. Please contact me for any further information or advice.
