Words cannot express the range of emotions and thrill of achieving my first win with Ponzi Pony (Gordie) on Sunday.
Thank you so much Leah Hemi for a super ride - and bringing the luck!
The win is made all the more special given the fantastic group of owners - including my Dad. John McLeod, Bryce Julyan, Leanne Dunne, thank you for your support and a massive congratulations to you all.
The last seven months have been filled with lots of lessons, and some laughter, as I have taken the treasured foundation of knowledge gifted to me by PH and embarked on my own training journey.
I am deeply grateful for, and humbled by, the support and loyalty of the owners who have shared my journey along with my friends in the racing industry who have offered their wisdom and encouragement with such generosity.
