Placemakers are a shining star of our shows and their generosity and commitment over the years has been amazing. Everything from ring ropes, tarps and paint for poles and much much more, Placemakers have what you need. Situated by ring 1 will be the Placemakers Tent with tables and seating, so pop in and watch some ring 1 action.

To everyone intending to enter our upcoming show- entries close in 10 days …

✔️Please check your membership and horse rego status before you enter - not doing so makes for unnecessary hurried last minute reminders, checks, emails and admin for yourself and for your event secretary… though we never, ever mind lending a helping hand!
The fees table on the schedule clearly sets out what you need in place - and simply put, it is relevant to the heights you are jumping at 😊😊.

✔️If doing National Classes- do check the rules®s needed to qualify for the class.

✔️Preparation is everything so start the season how you mean to carry on !! 😊😊

The Nelson Show Jumping StarSpotter scholarship for 2924/2025 goes to : MADDIE JAMES

Maddie: is 16 from Nelson. Has been riding since 6 years old initially in a riding school but after some intense years of begging …her parents finally caved in and bought her 1st pony!

Maddie’s current horse: 15.1 hh Stationbred Joey (Just A Dream) who she describes as “ quirky but lots of fun “!

Season Goals: consistent clear rounds, to move up the heights and travel to compete at some shows outside of Nelson!

Future goals: to ride some rounds in Ring 1 !!!
Career goals: Equine Vet

Nelson Show Jumping is looking for our next ESNZ Star Spotter!!
To be considered by us for this Scholarship you need to :
- be 25 years and under.
- have not had any previous membership with ESNZ in any discipline - this will be checked by ESNZ for your eligibility.
- be committed, showing ability, supported by family and looking to progress your skills for this season and the future, in either of show jumping or show hunter.
