We had a big day in Farlie hosting a dog control workshop with Timaru District Council and Mackenzie District Council Animal control teams.
We covered:
Dog handling safety
Dog body language
Catch pole training
Dog attacks: how to prevent & manage

Luther has been making amazing progress with his car reactivity training! Our next stage with his training is to work on his dog socialisation skills.

A big thank you to Rottweiler Rescue & Rehoming New Zealand for all the work they put into getting Luther down to us so we can help this wonderful boy out 🐾

Yes they do. Quality rest time is extremely important for dogs, especially when they are in an exciting environment.

🐾This handsome boy is from Rottweiler Rescue & Rehoming New Zealand.
He has joined our Board and Train program so he can get some training under his belt before he finds his new forever home 🏡 With some training and abit of TLC he will make a great family member.
We have started his training and he is already making great progress already 🐾

Note: We are not dealing with adoption enquiries for this boy, he is here for training only at this stage. 🙂

Meet Loki, a 6yr old Rottweiler boy 🐶

Loki is a big goofball who loves to have fun. Loki has been with us for a couple of months and he is now ready to find his new home 🏡

Loki would be best suited as an only dog and he needs an owner who will remain consistent with the training. He is very social with people and his favourite activity is a game of fetch or tug of war 💪

🐾 Adoption success 🐾

Our amazing foster boy Ace recently went to his forever home! Ace is now living with another dobermann companion and is in the best home possible.

We are so glad that we were able to give Ace a second chance to live a great life.

A big thank you to everyone who donated and offered their support to help Ace get to us, we couldn't have done it without you

If anyone has been evacuated due to the large fire currently burning in West Melton and needs emergency accommodation for their dogs, please contact us as we are able to help.

We can also house smaller animals if they are contained within a carrier/cage.
