Not one, but two cats dashed out from these grasses as Mortlock and I approached. A thorough investigation was conducted to ascertain why they were there and, was there any more?? The investigation concluded that there was no further cat activity nearby, walk could resume as normal.

I hope everyone has some fun and relaxing plans this Labour Day weekend. I'm off to Foster Parkrun tomorrow, 7th birthday celebrations! Got my tutu out ready. If you're up for a 5km run or walk on a Saturday morning, Foster Parkrun is where it's at 😁

Here's my cats and dogs on this wild weather day. Actually my ones, not ones I call mine but really are someone else's!

Silvie, Xena, Georgia, Badger, and Coco, all safe and sound inside. Georgia somewhat against her will as she likes to spend most of her time outside.
Birds and chickens are being regularly checked on. Chicken space is a nice sheltered area so they're almost oblivious! Birds don't mind some wind, I expect it'll get a bit much today though and they'll take shelter.

Keep yourselves and your pets safe. I look forward to the calm returning later.
