Well that was a wet weekend!!! Hopefully everyone is now recovered from the weekend that was NZDAC24.
I want to hear about everyone’s achievements!

🐾 Did you manage a lead out?
🐾 Did your dog weave first go?
🐾 Did you get a clear round?
🐾 Did you stay dry 😂😂
But most of all DID YOU HAVE FUN!!!!

For me NZDAC is a long weekend adventure, to hang out with friends and run my dogs. It got a little wet and miserable there for a bit, but most people still had a smile on their face, even when they had water in their shoes ☔️

Muscle Monday!! 💪

Todays muscle is the STERNOCEPHALICUS

🐾 Origin: It arises as a unit on the manubrium sterni
🐾 Insertion: Mastoid part of the temporal bone and to the dorsal nuchal line of the occipital bone.
🐾 Action: To move the head and neck to each side.
🐾 Nerve: Ventral branches of the cervical nerves and branches of the accessory nerve.

Layman’s Terms: This muscle connects from the chest to the rear of the scull and helps the dog move its head from side to side - This is a superficial muscle that is easy to feel
