First up.... Skeeter!🩵
Skeeter has now been waiting 200+ days for his forever home and is our longest staying animal!
Skeeter is 7 months old and has grown up here in the Rotorua Centre since he was 5 weeks old. As a result, Skeeter can be shy of new people, places and experiences and can be frightened by loud noises such as traffic. It is important we find a home for Skeeter with a patient, experienced whanau that will give him the time and care he'll need to settle in. He'll be best suited to a smaller family with no children and would need to be an only-pet home.
So, what's awesome about Skeeter?😍
- Well, he's an absolute sucker for affection. He loves belly rubs and full-body cuddles, and he is the best receiver of hugs. Need an shoulder to cry on? Skeeter's got you 4 life✌️
- He's incredibly loyal. Once you've taken the time to earn Skeeter's trust and develop a bond with him, he'll be your most faithful companion🩵
- He's an overall awesome, delightful dog with so much potential!
Shelter life isn't the best environment for any animal to live long-term, so with Skeeter's already joyous personality, we know once he's settled into a real home, he will continue to grow and thrive into a beautiful dog🩵

Maple and her brother Moose were found on our doorstep one morning. These lovely siblings are delightful, well-mannered pups.
