Ponies and buns sessions.

This week we are introducing our new ponies and buns sessions. this session will cost $20/child or $15/child for two or more children and will include one pony ride, time spent grooming a pony and they can also hang out with the rabbits. There are chickens and a pig, although they may not come too close. There will not be any requirement to book for the full term, however there will be limited spaces and you can book in advance for individual sessions. All children will need to be supervised.

Please contact me to discuss if you require help in any way. Sessions will either be on a Wednesday or Thursday from 4pm until 4.45. We will look at adding a 5pm session if there is enough interest. Location will be Vaughan Road.

Please PM me with the age of the child/ren you are wanting to book in and if you have a day preference. (We don't have an age limit). If you can't make these days, but are interested please let me know and we will consider adding another day in the future. Thanks

Adam from Artzy Giftzy is amazing at his balloon creations. Unfortunately he had been off work with a hand injury, but is now back into it. So if anyone is looking for some amazing balloons he sells them individually for special occasions and also does kid's birthday parties where they absolutely love him. He works hard to raise money for his daughter's ongoing medical care so this is definitely a small business worth supporting 💖

Still no sign of Midnight. If anyone on Vaughan Road or Te Ngae Road from the Vaughan Road intersection heading out of town or surrounding areas has security cameras that look out towards the road or even a big car park or other empty area can you please contact me on 021660804. I am thinking it is possible that she was walked up in that direction and possibly overnight. I have asked at some houses, but so far haven't had any joy.

Midnight was last seen in her paddock on Vaughan Road on Saturday afternoon. By Sunday morning she was gone. Her and two mates had escaped from the electric tape they were meant to be behind, but the other two had just wondered through the open gate to the next paddock with my big horses. For some reason Midnight was not with them and has not been seen since.

Has anyone seen Midnight possibly wearing a pink halter. Last seen on Vaughan Road yesterday afternoon just before 3, and was gone by 10 this morning. Her and two mates escaped from their paddock overnight, but the other two were in the next paddock hanging out with the big horses. It doesn't make sense why she would wonder away from her mates by herself. A few of us went for a good walk around the neighbours paddocks in case she had gone for a wonder, but no joy. We are starting to think someone may have taken her. Please PM or phone/text on 021660804. Thanks

One or two casual workers required with the potential to turn into permanent part time or even a full time position in the long term. At this stage after school and/or weekends required. There is also potential for professional training/study for the right person.

Duties include;
Teaching riding lessons.
Farm maintenance.
Feeding horses.
Grooming and basic care of horses
Birthday parties.
Pony rides.
Day to day care of horses and other small animals.
Horsemanship.

The ideal person will be;
Have experience with horses.
Reliable.
Trustworthy.
Have a full clean driver's license.
Be happy to have a police check done.
Enjoy working with animals and children.

So this is what happens when you take two girls to the rodeo with no practice. We also got there and realised the bridle wasn't in the car 🤦‍♀️🤣🤣 First up was Zae who has done barrel racing a few times with Buffy, but not enough that Buffy really knows what she's doing. Second was Latika who volunteers at the paddock a lot so we took her along as a thanks. It was a bit of a last minute thing so this was her absolute first time attempting it. It was never going to go really well, but they all did amazing considering and had lots of fun. Buffy is an amazing pony, but she can be extremely stubborn at times 🤣🤣
