Welcome to 2025 everyone! Things have livened up this week as more of our regular daycare dogs get back into the swing of things amongst incoming and outgoing boarding dogs.

We figure this is a great opportunity to just give a quick update for our boarding. From January 1st 2025, all of our dog boarding is done at our farm stay located at our private home in Springfield, which is about 15-20min North of daycare. We do provide transport to/from the farm from daycare in Ruakaka at no additional charge, in our purpose built van where your dogs are safely secured.

Numbers of boarding spaces are strictly limited, so please understand that if you are asking at the last minute we may not have the space available to accommodate your dog.

With that being said, ALL pick up and drop offs Mon-Fri are from daycare only in Ruakaka during our dedicated dropoff and pickup times, 7:30am-10am and 3pm-5:30pm. Please note Boarding rates are 24hrs, so alternative pickup times may incur daystay fees. We are still closed Public Holidays. We have received great feedback at the greater flexibility of times available to check in and out for boarding.

WEEKEND pick up and drop offs are at the farm between 9am and 11am by appointment ONLY, Saturday and Sunday. We are not allowing any check in or outs outside of these hours on the weekends.

With us offering dog daycare and boarding 24 hours, 7 days a week, caring for your dogs and ensuring they are safe and happy, we are therefore setting aside time on the weekends to enjoy time as a family and with our animal family too. While we understand that these hours may not be convenient to you, please respect this decision and do not ask for weekend pick up or drop offs outside of the stated times during the weekend at the farm. Dog boarding is something that we are very fortunate to be able to offer all existing and new clients and their fur family, and we would like to continue to do so.

Please note all boarding requires you to provide food enough for your dogs stay in a sealed container with clear feeding instructions. Food provided by Doggytown is $5 per dog per day.

We have had loads of fun with your pups so far this year and look forward to many new pups joining us and seeing regulars return.

Keep your eyes out soon as we will be posting some closure dates as well, trying to provide you with as much advanced notice as we possibly can.
