His facial expression and slightly stiff body posture indicates he wasn't too impressed about being wet 💦 but Cody is holding his tail up and was still very happy to take treats 😋

Buddy showing how much he has improved in just 2 weeks.
It wasn't long ago that he was blind and unable to stand due to severe meningoencephalitis which was complicated by IVDD in his lower spine!
Buddy is due for his physio session with Vetphysio Limited this week, I think he will be getting a big ✅ on his report card.

Juniper 16.11.24
Recently, 14 month old Juniper was diagnosed with bilateral hip dysplasia.
Today's feedback from her devoted owners after 2 hydrotherapy sessions and incorporating some lifestyle changes - " Juniper can now get up without having to use her front legs to pull herself up, and was not stiff or sore after some playtime with her furry friends." 🙌

Buddy's 2nd session - this is a huge improvement from his initial session 1 week ago. Not only is he more stable in his forelimb function, but Buddy also now knows the belt is going to move slowly forward.
Having "dad" at the front with treats is very helpful for Buddy, while Audrey is giving Buddy further stability and alignment via the harness and controlling the speed and stop/start for me so I can maintain contact with Buddy.
Meanwhile, I'm guiding his hindlimbs into a more correct placement, preventing his left-hind from knuckling, providing rhythmical gait and extra support to his weak hindlimbs. I'm also co-ordinating with 'dad" as he gives Buddy motivational treats so we can ensure Buddy has the most natural balanced movement possible at this stage.
Lucky that women are well known for their exceptional skills at multi-tasking 😉

Pluto 9.5 yrs old attends hydrotherapy to increase his fitness and stamina for an upcoming tracking trial.
We utilise our incline and decline to mimic the terrain that he will be competing on. This means we can target the muscle groups that he will engage to allow him to complete the trial efficiently and in good condition.

Charles has come such a long way in trusting us.
During his last hydrotherapy session, Charles was very happy taking his treats. This is huge for him and us, as it means we can work more therapeutically with him to influence his functional movement and balanced stance.
Tui Pet Rehab 😀🖤🤍
4.5 yr old Charles has a suspected intervertebral disc herniation between the T3-L3 spinal cord sections and is being treated with conservative management. Animal Referral Centre Hydrotherapy was recommended by his CCRT rehab vet Tui Pet Rehab as part of his rehab plan.
Now, Charles is not a fan of being handled by strangers and so we needed to create a management plan that was acceptable to him. Part of that plan is to use a Tellington TTouch World wrap and prior to his visit spray ADAPTIL, within the pool room and spray a towel that is placed poolside.
We also asked his devoted owners to bring along his own towel and a special toy which is full of his scent and therefore something familiar and comforting to him.
This was his second session, and Charles is coping really well with the hydrotherapy.
