Sorry to hear about the closing down of the stud Tawhai White Galloways NZ. I’m sure you’ve found great homes for your stock where they can carry on the lines you’ve created.

One of the last cows to birth at Tawhai as we have sold the herd !
Can’t walk up to the paddock but Princess has had another beautiful calf a 10 years old !! It will be number 27!
She was first Tawhai born calf now the last to calf here Number is 1. Feeling very sad 😢. Time to move on .
We will need a new name starting with P

Fantastic result Mountain View Galloways with the new well marked calf from new genetics from a fourth bull you’ve used over your herd. I’m sure the South Island breeders will be able to benefit from the North Island genetics in the years to come!

Daenerys did well having this one this morning at a decent hour. By the time I gave the cows a new strip of grass she had already calved!

This calf is the first one from the fifth bull we used over some of the cows which has produced a fantastic well marked calf 👌🏻

We welcome Mountain View Doug to the herd 🥰
