A busy few months has meant not much social media for us! But thanks everyone who made this a great year - it was lovely meeting so many new faces and hanging out with our excellent regulars. I hope everyone has a great 2024 - we will be business as usual (besides closing in September for some maintenence work). Happy New Year from the Jeffreys Family!

The cattery will be unavailable for drop offs and pick ups on Tuesdays starting in August for the rest of the year while I do a course during the day. Will be back to normal in December! If you're booked in for a Tuesday I will be in contact with you to organize another date. Thanks heaps!

Also if you're heading out our way take care on the road - there's been a slip cleared and it's a bit slippery with some surface flooding. Sorry again!

Keith (small, medium and large) will switch his purr on when you scratch his belly, then turn it off the second you stop. He's a cat who knows what he wants and I admire that.

Our family has been hit by the RSV bug that's making its way through NZ at the moment and out of an abundance of caution (I don't want to spread bugs in general, but especially when everyone's heading away for holidays!) I will be doing contactless drop offs and pick ups until we are well again. So look forward to seeing me wave to you awkwardly through the cattery window, and my apologies to those who like to stay and settle their cats but safety first ❤

Hi all! As of the 1st of February 2023 we will be raising our prices $2 per cat, per night. Any reservations on the books will stay at our current price.
We have had a significant increase in our operating costs this year, and this price increase means we can maintain the same quality of food and facilities.

Tigger is a technically an older gentleman, but personality wise he's a big baby. Also he was our first customer (almost three years ago!) so I think by law that makes him my son? Not 100% sure on the law but that feels right.

Just to be confusing we have decided to postpone our two week break in September until a later date (and hopefully better weather for painting!), so if you were wanting a booking during that time, please get in touch. This photo of my giant ginger son Wookie is for attention only, he doesn't tell me when I can and can't go on holiday 😹
