My name is Lauren and I have been a lover of cats since I arrived home to the farm after my first day of school on my 5th birthday to my very first cat, Jenny, who was waiting for me on the back door step. Since that day I have always had at least one cat and more often than not, more than one cat in my care. After a long career in the travel industry, I decided to change paths to a future in Anim
al Care and have begun working towards a career in providing care for local pets. I aim to provide care for pets both at their home as well as one day owning my own Kennel and Cattery boarding facility to care for local dogs and cats at my home. I am currently studying my Certificate in Companion Animal Care from The Southern Institute of Technology by distance learning and to date have been very successful in achieving almost purrfect grades for all of my submitted material so far. I am just weeks away from gaining my Certificate in Pet First Aid and Training once I attend this course in August 2023. I also have first hand experience working in a professional Kennel and Cattery business identical to that I intend to own myself one day. I am excited to announce the first step in my Animal Care venture with the launch of The Purrfect Nanny for at home pet care. I am here to love and care for your fur baby family members in the comfort and security of their normal environment when their humans can't be there. The Purrfect Nanny is at home pet care for all your pets, not just for cats, and strives to provide continuity of care and a stress free environment for not only your pets, but for you as pet owners too.
