So true my beautiful Purdy girl came into my life as the tiniest little runt with a big lump on her head. When I really thought I didn't need a dog. Now 16 years later I could not imagine my life without her ❤ All animals deserve love 🐶🐱🐺🐵❤

I really resonate with this for many reasons.

Working with rescue animals I see animals being overlooked all the time. I also see the look in their eyes when they realize they have been over-looked. It literally breaks my heart.

Willow was not my first choice but the universe had other ideas. Every day I am so grateful that she is in my life.

Every animal has the right to be in a loving home.
Every animal has the right to be an individual.

ALL of our animals deserve to be acknowledged.
ALL of our animals deserve to be given a chance.

The universe gives you the animal that you NEED, not necessarily the animal that you WANT.

Quick update on Team Adventure as we have had a series of unfortunate events 🙄🤔
Team Adventure is currently experiencing some transport issues 🚗💥💣🚚😱
Fortunately no living beings were hurt 🐶🐵❤️
But our adventure wagon Uncle Fester did not survive 😭 So we are not able do our normal mahi & due to a case of having the overit's, Team Adventure has taken to sitting in the garden eating worms, 😒😂🤣 But we are slowly getting back out & seeing our mates again & some have got their parents to bring then to Adventure HQ 🐶🦁🦊🐵🐺🦝 We are not taking on any new friends until we get a new adventure wagon 🚙
We are also looking for platinum sponsorship if you have an adventure wagon we have all the adventures for your furry or not so furry mate for life for free 😁🤞🍀🐺🐶🐷🦊🐵🦄

The last remaining washhouse refugee Jolene has proved she is weird enough to become a fully fledged part of Team Adventure 😽🤡🐺🐶🐵🦄 She is no longer a cat with out a land but a part of our whanau ❤️ Tonight allowing us to witness the completion of her lost lands most sacred dance of the room of Bath... This handsome guy is JDs he is 7 years old & needs a new whare ASAP 🏡 He is good with cats 😻 He can get excited with kids so needs to learn to calm down. He gets excited with other dogs & like to take them out of the yard adventuring by themselves 🤣😂
He is microchiped, fixed & has a current rego.. He is based in Taupo. Unfortunately due to a change in situation he can no longer stay with his family... He only has a couple of days before he will have to be surrendered to the pound....

Have you seen Bob? He has a pink collar with some wool on it. He is quite a big guy super fluffy. He is a very independent guy used to living in the country & heading home every few days. But it's been a week & his Mum is worried. Tauhara Road & he loves hanging out at the golf course. Please let us know if he has decided to live with you.

CARE NZ Community, Animal Rescue & Education is doing all they can to help these refugees & soany others...

HOMEOPATHY, WORMS AND THE FULL MOON!

Yes, it's that time again. Worming time! The full moon is on the 28th March and funnily enough it is the WORM moon!

CINA, is one of the main homeopathic remedies for worms.

It is best to give Cina once or twice a day every few months around the full moon as this is when worms tend to breed.

I generally worm Willow my dog the day before the full moon, the day of the full moon and the day after.

Worms in our pets (domestic and farm) are generally very common and if left untreated can cause serious health problems further down the track.

WHAT TO LOOK OUT FOR!

Below are some of the more common indications that your animal may be suffering from worms.

🐱 The animal will itch their a**l region
🐱 dogs tend to "scoot" along on their bottom
🐱 Irritable, cross and short-tempered
🐱 May bury/rub their nose into things
🐱 You will see worms in their faeces or around the a**l region
🐱 Generally very hungry but with no weight gain
🐱 Grinding of the teeth
🐱 Bloated abdomen
🐱 Generally they will appear worse at night, in the sun
🐱 They will appear better for moving around but worse for touch

After giving a dose of Cina, you will notice that your animal will be much happier and brighter.

Their energy levels will be increased as the worms are no longer stealing the animal's valuable nutrients!
