We have had a small adult white and tabby cat wearing a light pink collar handed into us. Unfortunately this fur baby is deceased.
The area this cat has come from is Arthur Crescent.
There is a microchip number scanning BUT it can not be found on the national database or at the three Taupo Vet Clinics. If this is your kitty or know the owner please contact us 073785433.

Black entire male cat with 4 white feet and white chin, not microchipped. Found in Gillies Ave, now at Taupo Veterinary Centre 258 Spa rd. Please contact us asap if you are missing this boy.

After 23 years of service to the Taupo community as a veterinarian, it is time for Jeanie Barnes to hang up her stethoscope, put aside her scalpel and move on to a new focus in her life.
We know her clients will miss her as much as we will and although Jeanie will still make the occasional cameo appearance, her last official day of work will be in early November.
Jeanie we thank you for your dedication, wisdom and care of your patients, clients and colleagues.
Enjoy the farm and family time.

For anyone out there (like us) who likes to take their dog a little out of town for exercise and exploration, please be aware.
Tragically we have seen some dogs affected by accidentally eating poisoned carrots. Our deep condolences go out to the family.

The warning sign may not be immediately obvious where you stop your car.

Calf rearing/farm work (FIXED TERM) job opportunity available!

We are looking for someone to assist the Taupo Veterinary Centre team with a trial on a local dairy farm.
The role will be for approx 4 hours a day (9.30am - 1.30pm) 5 - 7 (preferably 7) days a week for 60 days.

Duties include feeding and checking calves, cleaning up, calf pen hygiene and farm duties relating to the calves as requested by the farmer.

Calf rearing experience is ideal. A good level of fitness and some lifting may be required.
