With fun games and individual attention, our guests enjoy over two and a half acres of our property dedicated to their enrichment and joy, set in a country environment. ☀️🐾 Hot Weather Tips for Keeping Your Pets Cool🐾☀️

Hey Bark Inn Family! 🐶✨

As the temperatures rise, it's essential to keep our furry friends cool and comfortable. Here are some top tips to ensure your pets stay safe and happy during the hot weather:

1. Provide Plenty of Water:
Make sure your pets have access to fresh, cool water at all times. You can even add ice cubes to their bowl to keep the water refreshing.

2. Create Shady Spots:
Set up shaded areas in your garden or home where your pets can escape the sun. Consider using umbrellas, tents, or shaded patio areas.

3. Avoid Peak Heat:
Try to walk your dogs early in the morning or later in the evening when temperatures are cooler. Avoid walking on hot pavement, as it can burn their paws.

4. Indoor Activities:
Keep your pets entertained indoors with toys, puzzles, and games to avoid prolonged exposure to the heat.

5. Cool Mats and Fans:
Use cooling mats or fans under supervision to help regulate your pet's body temperature. These can be particularly helpful for pets with thick fur.

6. Never Leave Pets in Cars:
Even with the windows cracked, cars can quickly become dangerously hot. Always take your pets with you or leave them safely at home.
