Hi everyone just letting you all know we re-opened 11th November. Steve is healing up well and looking forward to the Christmas Holidays. We will be closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day and also 30th December for a family event. All other days we are open for business. Just a reminder that bookings are essential as tours are limited to 25 and bookings get preference. Come and celebrate summer with us.

Hi everyone unfortunately due to a serious medical event suffered by one of our humans Timberline Huskies has had to close temporarily. At this time we do not have a re-opening date but will update when we can.

Winter is here ❄️❄️❄️ Hoar frost yesterday makes for awesome photos of fence and cobwebs … minus 7 at 6:00am still minus 3 at 09:00 am when getting ready for our tour. Dogs are loving it but had to break ice in water bowls !!!

Did you know huskies are one of the most rehomed breeds of dog in New Zealand? It's super important to know exactly what to expect when you're welcoming a new dog. We aim to educate everyone who visits us gently, about the nature of these gorgeous dogs, and what it takes to look after them well!

🐺 They need LOADS of exercise
🐺 Their fluffy, dense coats need to be taken care of
🐺 They require strong discipline as they're very independant
🐺 They can become bored very easily and can sometimes escape
🐺 They are not an off-lead breed and have terrible recall!

Don't get us wrong, we LOVE them. But they're definitely a committment and you've got to know exactly what you're getting into when it comes to the husky world! 😆
