•Whole herd and individual vaccinations, including advice on the most appropriate protocols, either for your commercial herd or flock, or your small “lifestyle” menagerie
•Ultrasound pregnancy testing for cattle, deer and alpacas.
•Manual pregnancy testing where ultrasound is unclear or impractical.
•Reproductive advice and programmes for all classes of livestock including in-Calf training
•Mastitis management and consultancy advice for dairy herds
•Diagnostic blood sampling and testing.
•TB testing for deer and alpacas.
•Mineral Trace Element testing: blood testing, liver biopsy or through the meat works
•Facial Eczema spore counting – this is a free service. Equine

Smiles all around as Lola returns to her playful self! 🐶 Learn how a seemingly harmless grass seed caused significant troubles for Lola, and how our expert team at Papamoa and Te Puna Vets nursed her back to health.

A gentle reminder that with warmer weather comes barley grass seeds, commonly found in long grass and sand dunes. If your pet is licking a specific area or seems off character, it might be a barley seed causing discomfort. Remember to check your dog’s coat and paws after adventuring through long grass/sand dunes, and consider clipping long-haired breeds, especially between the toes, to help prevent seeds from getting trapped.

Nothing beats a happy pet story! 🌟 After being concerned about a large mass on Kobe’s elbow, our dedicated vet Melani, from Papamoa Village Vets, successfully removed it through surgery. We're thrilled to report that Kobe is now fully recovered, moving freely and enjoying his walks once again. His family couldn't be happier to have their lively companion back in action! 🙌
