Highlight of the week:
• The part time weeks are proving to be successful! 💜
• My knee seems to be holding up this week - no major pain/lock ups and the X-ray isn’t showing any meniscus damage 🦵
• Spent some extra time with my boy squad bonding 🦊🐼

Lowlights of the week:
• Breaking up a commotion this week between some dogs that got into my chicken pen meant I caught a stray tooth which has quite badly damaged my fore arm and the tattoo on it 😮‍💨

Pupil of the week:
• Luna the Collie! She has such amazing motherly energy and looks after all her wee babies 🥺

Friendly reminders:
- Contracts will be sent to all owners by the end of this weekend via email/hard copies delivered next week if requested. So please reply to your individual owner chat on WhatsApp by Sunday 🙏
- If you don’t pay for your dogs visit by the end of the work week, your dogs spot will automatically be cancelled for the coming week. If I have to keep asking you for payments weekly, your dog will be removed from all groups.
- If you cancel your dogs visit the day of then you will still be liable to pay for your dogs visit as that is a place another dog could have had.
- I still have owners enquiring daily to get their dogs into daycare, I’m going to continue to run a boutique service and not increase my days or dogs numbers so I’m just going to have a zero tolerance policy now, it’s been long enough that I sound like a broken record asking for these things 😮‍💨

Highlight of the week:
• The part time weeks have started - I’ve been able to go to a few doctor’s appointments and get on top of my health. 🏥
• The weather has been amazing 🌞
• No major dramas with doggos this week, they were all on their best behaviour 😇
• The mini gang outings are going well! 👯‍♀️

Lowlights of the week:
• P**p in the van, Dog scratches to the side of the van. Looking at a lot of maintenance costs to fix a few bits! 🚙

Pupil of the week: Ziggy! He’s so welcoming whenever there is a new member to join the gang and always makes sure they are shown the ropes and fit in 🥰

This week I will be rolling out contracts for all my current owners, apart from the few people I have already been chatting with, I won’t be looking to take on new dogs/owners, especially while I am only operating part time. I would prefer having capacity to give my current owners extra days if they need 🤝

I cannot thank my current owners enough for being the most respectful and caring clients I’ve ever worked for, you really are an amazing bunch of people. This week has been really enjoyable and I’m glad I can still look after the same number of dogs I was doing weekly, but condensed into the 3 days. 🤍

Important info summary for 2025:

• Price is $50 per dog, per day (new owners) 🐶
• This price includes both pick up and drop off. 🚐
• Tauranga side only (No Mount or Pap or beyond Bethlehem/Brookfield or Welcome Bay) 📍
• A day is roughly 5/6 hours including the transport. 🚐
• We aim for 2/3 hours social and active time as they have plenty of room to zoom (think of how long you walk daily and if it exceeds this then we won’t be suitable) 🏃
• These hours may be shorter during the middle of Summer to keep the pooches safe and prevent heatstroke. After the middle of Summer these hours will look to extend. 🥵
• We only operate Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays at home and have a maximum of 20 dogs per day. 🤝
• We only do small/medium dogs. 🐕
• We have walkers available for solo or small pack walks (up to 4 dogs) 👯

Highlight of the week:
• Some easier runs with traffic since people have begun to finish up at work for the year!
• Some perfect weather days - not too hot, for the pups!
• Being unbelievably spoilt by my owners and pooches 🥹
• Having Emma to give extra snugs to the babies and also give me a bit of a breather during the day if I need!

Lowlights of the week:
• I’m definitely feeling that end of year exhaustion - but we are on the home stretch!

• Sadie - we’ll both Sadie’s actually! Both Sadie the Seal and Sadie the boxer are super welcoming and can integrate with any pooches on board 🥰

I cannot thank my owners enough for all of the gifts, kind words, laughs and cuddles I’ve had over this last week. I feel beyond spoilt 🥹🤍 thank you, thank you, thank you!

Highlight of the week:
• Emma joined the gang! Now all the babies have a new fun aunty to help out a few days a week 🤝
• My booking app is being made as we speak. This will mean you can book in your pooches days and shift them around if you need too! You can upload your vaccination records, it will send both you and I vaccination reminders. You will also electronically sign an agreement which will be stored in the app to cover our rules and regulations. Plus, all of your pooches photos will be stored in an album on the app under your pooches own personal profile! Invoicing will also be organised via the app as well so I’ll let all my owners know when we will be launching it (in the new year) 🥰
• I’m enjoying the cooler temp and I think the dogs are too. Last week was horrifically warm and I was genuinely worried about some of the dogs getting heat stroke and being dehydrated. 🥹

Lowlights of the week:
• Traffic is still my main frustration - although I know the dogs love riding in the paddy Waggin. 🚐

Pupil of the week:
• Holly! 🖤 She is such a smart and kind girl. She’s always so welcoming to new gang members and makes sure they learn the ropes and feel comfortable.

Other special mentions this week:
• Tilly the Cocker for being an absolute mud monster.
• Heidi for being so confident on her entire first visit.
• Jess for singing me the best songs when I pick her up!
• Frank and Gus for being super social without Ellie around.

I am already beyond excited for my app to launch - as I know it will help me have more times to engage with my pooches, plus give my owners more control over their schedules/dog days.

We are almost there with the next step of our resource consent and as soon as we get the green light there I’ll be looking at getting more vans to help smoothe out the pick up process!

Emma is being a god send and helping me pick up some pooches that are scattered away from the bulk of my other pick ups - so I thank you again, as always my owners have been amazing and supportive with any change in my business and I love that we get to all watch it grow together and be part of this community 🥹🥰🤝

Last holiday group before things return to normal next Monday. 🤝 However, There will be a few changes to things over the next few weeks including: • Pick up Suburbs • Days/Hours • Staff members in charge of certain dogs • Boarding It’s not secret that this role has taken quite a physical and mental toll on me in the recent months - and I want 2025 to offer some work life balance and prioritise my own health again. I’ll contact all the owners who will be affected directly over the coming week prior to making any public announcement’s - for now, I’m going to enjoy the weekend with my Boys and have some down time 🤍 Catch you all again Monday!

Theme of today: ALL the kisses and cuddles 🥰 Gang size: 16 of the Little League Legends 🤝 Tip for summer: Try avoid long grass that is dry - as these seeds can penetrate your pups skin. Check paws, underarms, ground and around ears for areas after walks. Try and keep long haired coats short if possible and brush after walks! 🌱

My cuddle buddies understood the assignment today 🥰 except some of the dogs missed the memo and though that I said BUNNIES so spent the entire day bouncing 😅

Friday small fries putting those little leggies to good use 🏃 Im so proud of these babies - their recall has improved massively, their confidence is growing and their friendships are building - plus their personalities are truely starting to show 🥰
