Well it was the first day dog showing today for Tru and her sister Brienne. While a little apprehensive to start with having uncle Tetonka there definitely helped settle them, he's such a lovely natured boy.🥰

They attended two open shows and both came away with Baby Puppy of group, and a toy, but it wasn't about the wins it was about making the girls feel comfortable by easing there way into the strange world that is dog showing.

It was great to catch up with our friends Donna & Earl, and other friends, but most of all the kids got to hang out for the day and just chilled right out. By the end of the day we took home 3 very tired kids but so proud of how they went 😊

So with all the Kaos that has been our life over the last few months with me and some of our kids needing extra care, Dad has been taking care of feeding and exercising the ridgebacks in particular due to there high energy levels.

Well while I was in hospital last week he called me asking for help because it appears Dads not so good at working out when a girls in heat 🙄 so Ember had four precious parcels arrive.😊
Meet these four sweeties....2 princes and 2 princesses.🥰

While not planned they have been a gleam of hope that our bad streak has passed when it comes to our canine kids.🤞

When will the losses ever be over ?😪

Once again we have lost a Dogueridge family member who lived with our dear friends Mike & Colleen and the beautiful Sage.
Today with extremely heavy hearts they had to say there final farewells to our precious Bear, sadly I couldn't be there as I'm in hospital but we was definitely there is spirit.

Huge hugs and thanks to Mike and Colleen for the love and devotion they have given our big Bear over the last few years it is truly an extremely heartbreaking day.

Bear you were personality plus with a heart so big for your people and you will be so very missed by us all but especially by your best buddy Sage.

Run free our boy in love, we will all miss you so dearly.💔

Sadly again I am forcing myself to do another memorial this one for my pocket rocket, Gage.😪

What we thought was just a tummy upset turned out to be a lot more sinister and we again had to give one of our precious kids his wings🦋

Gage, this was such a shock my son and while we know it was the best decision for you it was one decision we really wished we didn't need to make for you or us.

The smallest of our bunch but the one most respected and boss of the crew, you came out a little fighter strutting your stuff and stayed that way, your presents is missed beyond belief.
Fly high my boy and you know the drill watch ya back with Bree and we love you to the moon and back and beyond xx 💫 💔

It's taken me a week to be able to write this. Last Saturday we said goodbye to our boy Kru. What the vet suspected was a partial cruciate tear turned out to be much worse than first expected. Kru had been on pen rest for a few weeks but his condition instead of getting better got slowly worse so we took him for an xray to confirm what was actually going on and they found osteosarcoma, what's the chance I get two dogues with the same condition I thought, turns out high 😪
To say we are heartbroken is an understatement. He was such a loyal, sweet and loving clown he has left a huge gap💔
Rest easy our boy if we could have fixed you we would of but there were higher plans for you, probably because you were special, i knew it from the first moment i held your wee body. You will be so missed my son😪 but your Mum and Dad will be thrilled to be able to hang with you again. Love always my precious boy 😔

I tell you this climate change thing is a worry. Walked out to snow on the lawn this morning .... Ms Tru reckons she had nothing to do with it 🙄🤣
