Tiger the rabbit (named for his stripes!) was in last week to be neutered. 🩺
Here he is being well cared for by Dr Sue and surgical nurse Diane, who made sure his anaesthetic and procedure went smoothly. 💙

Tiger’s now recovering well — and can’t make any more bunny babies… which is probably a good thing, because we all know how rabbits breed! 😉🐇🐇🐇

🐾 Supporting Moggies - Homes for cats and kittens 🐾

Moggies is a Bay of Plenty Cat Rescue with a big dream – to make a real difference for local cats and kittens through adoption, advocacy, and community support. 💙

This 100% volunteer-run organisation is powered by a network of incredible foster families across Pukehina, Paengaroa, Te Puke, Papamoa, Mount Maunganui, and Tauranga. Their goal? To nurture, rehabilitate, and rehome cats and kittens so they’re ready for a safe, happy future.

At Welcome Bay Vets, we’re so proud to support the work they do. Some of the ways we help include:
✨ Spraying a calming solution on towels before timid kittens arrive for consults
✨ Performing flank speys for cats that need easier post-op care
✨ Meeting regularly with the foster team to check on cases and share updates
