The jumps are all set up for our members only rally tomorrow.
The rtr jumps are up for schooling, however due to the close proximity of our Ribbon day next weekend we ask that riders be mindful of damage done to the ground- especially the take off areas😁

We are looking forward to welcoming back Anna Wade on the 22nd September for SJ Group lessons.
The dreaded barbed wire fences are finally being removed and new fences put up, because of this there are many hazards on the grounds at the moment so we will not be having any Riders on the grounds during this time please. We have a rally with rtr jumps planned but that will be postponed until after the work has completed and hopefully we will get that in before our ribbon day next month.
Sooo looking forward to finally getting this done it’s been on our to do list for such a long time!🐴

We have a fencing contractor onsite for 2 weeks, starting 20th August.
For safety reasons our Thursday schooling sessions are cancelled, until the work is completed.
We are very excited to have new post and rail fencing and horse mesh gates installed. 👌👌👌

Just a reminder though guys that we are all just volunteers here at the club with very busy lives and whilst we do our best to accommodate everyone sometimes it's just not possible to fit everyone into their desired time, luckily there are other clubs holding measuring days soon so don't panic if you can't get to us :D
LIFE MEASURES
We have a few lifes to do, please read the following remit Re Shoes on horses presented for Life certificates
The remit passed is QUOTE -d) Applicants requiring a RAS Life Measure must have the Horses/Ponies shoes
removed and the hooves trimmed, UNLESS the Horse/Pony has presented for
three (3) consecutive annual measures from the age of eight (😎 years which are
within 0.5cm of each other, in which case shoes are optional; or if the Horse is
over 168cm, in which case shoes are optional. If shoes are fitted, only 0.5cm
allowance shall be made. No allowance shall be made for thin or worn racing
plates or shoes.

We’re looking for a paramedic who would be available to cover our show days, providing accident and illness care to our competitors and supporters. Hours will be 9am-3pm on show days. Paid position.

Committee member Georgina and one of our youngest members Lucas both had a great series at the Ngatea Pony Club twilight show jumping in the bigger heights with Georgina ending up Second, and Lucas 3rd and 4th on his ponies. A neat little Pony Club working hard for their members, so make sure you support them when you can. 😊
Our weekend is comprising of bringing back some of the fantastic trophies to their former glory. This one in particular I can’t wait to see, it shows just how much history this awesome club has and I thought would be the perfect opportunity for everyone to share their memories with us.
